City Tree

It's rare when I have dreams, and rarer when I can remember them. Ironically I just don't interpret my own dreams. So here it goes: I dream about an ancient large tree in the middle of city. This tree has a story to tell. When it was just a little sapling it was surrounded by forest. Loggers spared it because of its position on a ridge. But in that forest a man was hunting squirrels with an ax. They were surrounding him and avoiding him while he swang his ax round and round trying to get them. Then a nearby small tornado that was his frustration then surrounded him and he swang round and round in a spin killing several squirrels. I don't remember anything after that exept going back to the present with the city surrounding the tree. No attached emotions; maybe I felt some of the man's frustration, and a deep profoundness of going back in time through the tree to before the city existed. (It probably shows that I'm an american with a dream like this.) A few days ago I actually dreamed about tornadoes in a jungle! They were small and just zipping around between the trees. They shouldn't even exist, there was no weather creating them. I was with friends driving on an elevated highway, almost as high up as the tree tops. We went to some strange play and the drove back the same way. The tornadoes were mainly moving parallel to the highway, but one was coming in. I remember thinking that the impact shouldn't be powerful because the trees would absorb most of the force. Why am I dreaming about trees & tornadoes lately?

Hiya hun, weird dream. In dreams of trees, it depends entirely on the type of tree and the trees condition. For instance, healthy trees are a sign of growth and prosperity, but withered, attacked or dying trees, suggest that you should consider another way of earning money 'cause you are unlikely to succeed as things stand at the moment. Dreaming of axes and the cutting down or destruction of nature, warns you, not to take any chances this upcoming month and to stop whatever you are trying to do at the moment as it will get you nowhere. As for tornadoes hun, usually they signify that you are running away from a problem, and that it won't solve itself, so you have to face up to it, or it will carry on chasing you. Actually the lease on my apartment expires at the end of July and I have to decide whether to stay or move. Sounds trivial but it's not! It's been weighing on my mind for awhile and I'm running out of time. But why trees & tornadoes?
