Killing 2 big black hairy Tarantulas

I saw that I tried to kill 2 big black hairy Tarantulas. Actually someone else was also helping me kill them and I do not remember who that person was.

We had 2 big Tarantulas in our family room near our sofas. and I remember putting some powder or chemical on them to kill them and then all of a sudden we cannot find where they went we kept saying to each other that they must have gone under the seat of the sofa or under the sofa, and they have been powdered to get killed or sprayed to get killed and they must be kind of like dizzy and they have gone under the sofa and we cannot find them.

And then I start thinking that what if I sit on the sofa or someone sits on the sofa and they bite someone ...... and then I wake up.... the sofas were leather navy blue and the Tarantulas were like really dark brown/black.

Does anyone knwo what this means...... I often see small insects like spiders and others in my dreams and this one above I saw last night

Holy crap, spiders freak me out. I get absolutely terrified in spider dreams - and for some reason it's the only type of nightmare I can't instantly wake myself out of if it gets too scary.

Do you have any particular fears of spiders or insects? Sometimes fear can take advantage of us in our dreams. But I have to admit that I'm never going to try to conquer my fear of spiders...I'll take the nightmares.

Huh... see, okay, I LOVE spiders. They're my second favourite animal, before cats(of ALL kinds). I even have a funnelweb spider that lives in the hollow windowsill over my bed. She's great, she catches all the nasties like mosquitoes and flies, and keeps me mozzie-bit free! I call her "Miss 'Pider". She's like my second pet. During winter, when food is scarce, I occaisionally feed her an earwig or an aphid from the garden to keep her tummy full... I take GOOD care of her.

But yeah... 'nuff of that. As for your dream, ss:

If you're scared of spiders or insects, or a bit uneasy around them, then it's a bit weird they've manifested themselves so harmlessly in your dreams... note, it's you hunting them, not the other way around. The fact that somebody is HELPING you "defeat" them is also pretty interesting... Sorry I can't really be of much help in this one...

      Hey SS,

Well, it's possible that the tarantulas can represent a problem, action or issue you may have dealt with that you now might be second guessing. For instance, pouring the chemical on them (tarantulas) could represent your action or reaction to the particular situation (lets say you told someone a secret about a friend you swore never to tell). So, you tell this person that he/she can't tell anyone. Now this person would be the tarantula, crawling around with this "venom" (secret). And the concern that this "tarantula" might somehow end up "bitting someone" (spreading the secret) has you a bit anxious.

Our minds speak to us in metaphors so it can be difficult at first to figure out what the heck is going on. But if you can start by getting just the main idea of what the dream's point is - moral of the story - you can start applying it to real events going on in your life.

Last night I also had a dream about a big, black, hairy tarantula. I saw my sister hang losing at ease and that tarantula being placed under it (her palm). It tried to do her some harm as I concluded, but she seemed oblivious about it. So I walked up and crashed it several times with my foot with a shoe on. I bent down to look at it intently, I made it a pulp but one of the tarantulas's legs or feelers was still unharmed and moving. Suddenly it raised it trying to bite me or maybe applicate a bit of its poison. It was its last desperate attempt to harm me, but it was of no avail. I just ducked back in time and I knew somehow that I won this battle...

What does that mean? That there is no danger any more? (if that tarantula represented a danger in my real life or my sister).
If anybody wants to interpret I'd be grateful.
      I'm tired being sorry.
