I have this huge book called "20,000 Dreams" and I've looked up almost every part of every dream since I bought it and basically i've noticed that whatever the object represents, that is what you need to focus on. |

I think the interpretation of dreams should start at the individual, not in a book. You think about a certain symbol that appeared in a dream. Then you write down what you associate with it. No matter how paradox that is. And you do that with almost every symbol of the dream .. if you don't come to a useful conclusion/interpretation it's time to look up certain symbols in a book. There are Archetypes that refer to a collective unconsciousness; meaning this is not an individual symbol and must therefore be interpreted differently. Well this refers to C.G. Jung, a representative of the psycho-analysis. |
