I Keep Dreaming Of This Guy That I Work With..

It is so strange! In the past little while I have had two dreams with him in it.. The first one, I was driving a car and I drove past him.. But he was topless and had awesome abs and those really sexy pelvic line things and was altogether very very sexy, yet in real life I do not find him attractive in any way. The second dream was on the same day I told my friend that I thought he had a crush on her. I just remember all of a sudden being lucid, he just happened to be in front of me and in a matter of seconds I had jumped him. Hahah! I don't even really know why it was a weird impulse. Soon after I had lost lucidity though because I started thinking "What if my friend finds out, she is going to be so mad at me especially since I just told her that he liked her" And a spiral of thoughts like that. In real life I don't like him in "that way".. At least I don't think. Please tell me dreams like this have no deeper meaning.

hm...you never know...it probably doesn't, it really depends after all.. for example, i also had dreams about a certain guy..and it was more than two..for me that could have either been a liking for him or it could be something else.. also..i heard that sometime when you dream of a guy, it does not necessary mean that you like him... rather he represents a father figure, brother figure or even your masculine self..xD but still, it all depends on you... my dreams meant i need to come in terms with my past childhood with him... if you have anymore dreams about him, record it and try and examine your feelings..chances are you probably don't like him..but hm... i'm probably not the best at interpeting dreams..so you'll have to wake for some other people..xDD

Heya. I should really post in the interpretation subforum some more. My two cents: Firstly, dreams do not have "literal" or "apparent" meaning. Often in dreams, a particular person in that dream, what they do, and your thoughts about that person in the dream, MAY NOT represent what you first think upon awakening. Sometimes, you have to dig a little for the meaning. As an example: I once had a dream where a (male) friend held my hand. I thought it was a gay come-on at the time, and being striaght, when I woke I was quite worried about it. But upon interpreting my own dream and mulling it over, I recognised that the reason I was holding his hand was because he was talking to me and expressing thoughts I myself was having on a sub-conscious level - him holding my hand was a symbol that the dream character of my friend, within the context of this dream, did NOT represent my friend, but rather, represented my subconscious, and reason. You anticipate a blossoming sort of relationship between Mr. Abs and your female friend. Within the dream, you find him attractive. Perhaps this is not because you are attracted to HIM, but you are attracted to what he represents within the context of his "like" towards your friend. What you want, perhaps, is not HIM, but, you want a relationship similar to that which you see happening between him and your friend. Not with him, though, perhaps. So, I wouldn;t get stressed about it too much. I don't think you wanted HIM, but maybe you wanted the relationship which he represents, because of his like towards your friend. So, within the context of this dream, perhaps Mr. Abs represented not the real-life Mr. Abs, but instead represented the idea of romance or a relationship (though not with him in particular)???
