I recently had a very strange dream that has been bothering me. In it, I was in a building whose exterior and surrounding area were those of my old high school, but the interior was completly different. It was like I was in an indoor three story atrium with a skylight, it was night so the interor lights were on reflecting on wood sided walls. I was fleeing an unseen creature, whom I somehow knew to be large and humanoid, and his minions who were as ordinary humans but who I knew propigated like zombies. I fled through a large multi-storied room with many computers on terraces, then into the main atrium to the parking lot in the back. With a group of others we attempted to reach a vehicle; I was seperated from the group and cornered by a large group of minions, as I was preparing for a last stand, a voice came from another direction saying that there were losers in that direction. The minions appeared drawn to this and went in that direction, ignoring me. I found my way to where the rest of my group was waiting and got into the front passenger seat. We then drove off, with me navigating always making the turn that would take us father away from the school. As we drove into the country , my head fell back against the headrest. There was a break in the dreamline and I was aware that about a year had passed. A group member and my self were in an outdoor marked in the country when we were captured. We were being taken to an arena when I woke up.
Are there any special meanings in this dream or am I just crazy?

Dreams are a personal thing. I believe that most, if not all dreams have a meaning. The secret is looking inside yourself for the answers.

Dreams are a symbolic language of your psyche and soul. for someone to just out right interpret your dream is a little more difficult without knowing you - your present situation.

You have the ability to interpret this dream yourself - but first you must gain an understanding of the language of dreams. Just as in any language that is foreign to you - you must learn the language before you can read, listen and speak it.
Dreams are just puzzles of your life.

First ask yourself: what is going on in my life right now? - write it down.

Pick out the symbols in your dream that stand out to you heavily - write them each down

Than notice the symbols of your dreams that barely leave a mark on you - write them each down

Although there are universal archetypes that appear in every-ones dreams - each one can symbolize something completely different for every dreamer.

At the end of your dream you were Captured and than woke up. Review your whole dream that lead up to your capture. -- In your waking present life -- Is there something (or someone) in your life (presently or recently) that maybe holding you back? Some dreams speak of the present, some dreams show you your present reality signaling what is awaiting in the near future, if you do not make changes.

It is hard for me to just tell you what your dreams mean - I don't know anything about you - but I hope the above helps guide YOU in interpreting the symbolic message for yourself.

Although many people rely on dream dictionaries, I do not believe they are best answer in interpreting your dreams -- however, you may find one that guides you in the right direction.

If you FEEL the dream is important -- than it is important! Listen to it!

      Good Luck!

I have had a similar dream before. Sort of the same concept, I am being chased by something like you described and when I get cornered and am about to be captured I say something, or something happens and their attention is turned away from me to something else. I eventually escape.

I decided this dream was simply induced by stress, as are a lot of dreams I have.
