      ok folks

this happened to me when i was young or perhaps a teen im not sure..

But I would wake up in the middle of the night, and it would be dark..and I would always try to turn on the llight--usually after a nightmare.. and i shared a room with my brother at the time--we had bunkbeds--

Well the right side of our beds were up against a wall and i would usually try to get up off the left side, but for some reason there was a wall there.. id go to the right and there would be a wall, it was almost like i was stuck.. I would yell not too loud, my brothers name until he would turn on the light from his top bunk, and all the time i would be facing the right wall--the real wall---

so im wondering, WTF HAPPENED!! seriously...was i awake or wtf?

You probably were experiencing a reacurring dream where in the dream you were trapped between both walls. You're brother probably heard you squirming and turned on the light. In the dream you were rolling from the right wall to the left wall and each time finding a wall this was probably because your physical body was actually facing the wall in real life and never moved.

      On another note:
These dreams may occur when you feel confusion or conflict about how to act in waking life. As a teenager did you ever feel like your parents were very strict limiting you to only a few things that you really like to do?

Keep in mind as well that the images are influenced by biological roots and experience. Feeling trapped also mirrors what occurs to the large muscles of the body during normal REM sleep, when they're paralyzed to prevent the body from acting out the dreams.

yes but when my brother would flick on the light, i would be in a kicking position--because i would be kicking the wall(s) but when the light turned on i would be facing the wall that our bed's rested on
