I'm So Worried Now After Having This Dream!

2 nights ago I had a dream that my bird was smoking a cigarette! She is a cockatiel. I mean he. After having my bird for three years I've discovered my Chloe is in fact a male. But anyway, in the dream I was by the bird cage and my bird had a cigarette in his mouth and it was lit and he was smoking it. I took the cigarette out of his mouth and broke it and put it out. But I put it back in his mouth an he began chewing on it. Do you think this is saying something about my bird's health? I am so worried. I am 15 male. I am very close to my bird. It could also have something to do with my mom's boyfriend being a smoker and being around my bird all the time?

Does your mom's boyfriend smoke around your bird? It probably just means that you are worried, consciously or unconsciously, about your bird's health. It doesn't mean your bird's health is in danger. But if you are worried about this, you could maybe ask your mom's boyfriend not to smoke around your bird, or you could move your bird somewhere where he wouldn't be around the smoke.

Does this guy smoke around your bird? If so, that sounds like a reasonable explanation to me. However, keep this in mind. This dream is telling you that you are worried about his health. Not that something bad will definately happen to your bird. Don't see this as a foreshadowing of things to come. It's just your SUBconscious part of your brain making sure that the CONSCIOUS part of your brain is aware that there is a problem. It isn't some sort of psychic message that means your bird will die soon. You were already aware that there was a problem. Just do what you can to fix it. If he is not actually smoking around your bird, I don't know what it means. lol But your bird is definately not going to get sick from not smoking. -sloth

When did younfind out your bird was a male not female - in relation to the dream. In a way the cigarette is possibly a weird phallic symbol - and you take the cigarette out of the birds mouth because you are slightly disturbed by finding out the bird is not female but I also like your idea about the dfream linking to your mothers bf. The bird is an innocent creature being polluted or worse by the smoke.
