Hi everybody!! I have recently had a very odd dream....I was back at my parents house and we were watching the news.....and oddly there was a giant structure that was going to explode and destroy earth....the wierd thing is that when we looked out our window it was a giant windows 98 logo way out in space but like....massive....so we watch it explode and we're all praying but then when it explodes big spheres that look like flares are orbiting really close to the earth and these wierd fighter jets come and grab them in a gravity field and try to throw it out of orbit but it just makes them go into and eliptical orbit and they keep coming closer till they start striking the earth....and these spheres range from the size of minivans to large buildings....and me and my parents are hidind under cars and watching huge spheres tear through the earth revels sewer and stuff like that and for some reason there was a man that my mom locking in a room and threw away the key so he couldn't escape....and he was singing the lords prayer....then we see a massive one come towards us and I try to throw my parents out of the way but it hits and kills us all and as me and my parents are falling through the ground im watching my dead parents beside me then it feel cold and I die.......then we were back at my parents house...and I was looking off the balcony...but it wasnt the normal view...there was a beautiful view of a river and sunset then the earth starts shaking and huge waves start going down the river then I barely catch out of the corner of my eye the dog jumpp of our balcony to her death but my mom says jus leave her then I wake up....what do these wierd dreams mean?...they were both in the same night

Well dreams may relate to reality in any =number of ways. It’s best to use a process of association. The dream features windows 98. Dreams can be about day to day and seemingly mundane ideas. Dreams relate to our conceptual mind and to our conceptual feelings. So this is really the powerhouse of all creative thinking and ideas in our minds. So have you any strong views on windows 98? It’s an old operating system that is about to be replaced by a new system. Windows Vista is out. Do you get any nostalgic ideas about windows XP being replaced? In some ways moving to a new operating system is a major change - it’s the end of the world as we know it. Many programs simply do not work. Some features are totally changed. Our dream mind will concentrate on these issues. A healthy and happy person is one with a PC that works in a trouble free way. If you suddenly have major problems with a computer it can be completely frustrating. So these kinds of issues are important and relate to our mental well being. So dreams do take a look at these issues if there are no other pressing problems. If computers appeared in your mind in any way on the day before then the dream could be related to that. Some issue concerning them or technology in generally. The same could be said of logos. What other logos appeared in your thoughts? It’s really a matter of using an association to see if anything seems to pop up. If you find some connection to reality then try to look more in depth at the symbols and see if the dream fits that issue in other ways. ------------------------ By the end of the day we are tired and exhausted. Thats generally because of how the mind is organised. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Its only at night that we start to work through what has just happened the previous day. We reform our emotions and transfer the important bits iof information into long term memory. Then we clear the short term memory blocks ready for the day ahead and the whole process starts again. So obviously there is a strong connection between the previous day and dreams. Look for the thoughts dominating your previous day. Perhaps you see Microsoft as the equivelent of the Death Star in star wars, do you have such views? Anyway sounds likie quite an involved dream, perhaps you feel vulnerable, or in an insecure posiution, either in your family or where you are in life? just a guess, but i think apocylitic dreams may have to do with anxiety.

I just realized how funny that was, oddly enough i've dreampt of a windows logo (giant as well) hmm
