      A dream I had

The Room is dark and cold with a faint glow of candle light, which makes the faded red brick wall visible. A crack in one of the walls is taking on a dull green tinge where a pipe had ruptured, allowing mold to flourish. Pale beige plaster from the ceiling littered the floor. All of these things remain unnoticed by the two occupants.

One of the men is taped to a steel chair, which is situated in the absolute center of the room. He is unconscious. The second man is pacing back and forth. His eyes are fearful and his speech inaudible. As the man walks back and forth his speech becomes increasingly loud. With every pass he becomes more paranoid, more agitated, more fearful. He stares at the man in the chair accusingly, and suddenly he stops everything. The man slowly turns his head over to his right. A man who looks exactly like him is standing there.

They exchange glances, but neither says a word. His doppleganger just grins as they stare at each other. The man reaches into the waistband of his pocket and pulls a gun. As he takes aim at his duplicate, the man in the chair turns his head and as his face becomes visible, the man sees the impossible once again, he sees his own face staring back at him. The gun is now trained on the man in the chair. His already erratic behavior hits a plateau. He doesn't know who to point the gun at.

As he successively points the gun at himself and his duplicates, the gun goes off - Bang

      I like your signature.
Maybe you think people are damning themselves. Or maybe you just saw that twilight zone episode the other guy mentioned. Of course sometimes a dream is just a dream.

I've been thinking about this even more... it never really felt like a dream, it was just a situation I had vaguely in my mind, it was so vague, but vivid at the same time... I think thats why I thought it was a dream.

      Ok, this can be deleted.
