Realistic Nightmare

Well I'm 16 Male, and sometimes I get dreams of myself dreaming. Usually it's nothing but sometimes it would turn into a nightmare. One time I remember my nightmare started off waking up from a nightmare. I was so spooked that I dragged my butt to turn on the lights for my safety. But when I turned it on the lights didn't go off and I turned around in a panic and I was engulfed by a black mass that pulled me to the ground. And I woke up in a sweat. Also before this nightmare I had one a week or two earlier where I was sort of tired and I just turned off the computer and I went to bed. I'm not really sure if this was a dream or not but I remember closing my eyes and saw a flashing light rotating around. Sorta like how if you were staring at a fire or a light for awhile and you close your eyes you see a flashing light-blob. Well after a couple seconds the Blob became a Skull! The skull kept rotating and it scared the crap out of me that I woke up and stayed awake until 7am when I felt safe enough to sleep. (It was around 3 or 4 when I tried to sleep that time.) Also before these all happened sometimes at night before I sleep I feel as if my room starts moving for no apparent reason, as if I was dizzy. Thanks in advance.

You may be keeping things hidden. - Dreammoods.com Dictionary It seems to me that you are suffering anxiety about the unknown and fear of change about how to think beginning with light of understanding and need for higher level of awareness and feeling. This would seem to me quite typical for a 16 year old, and it may even be related to that famous wise fool tendency to think you know everything are beginning to figure out that you do not. Just a guess.
