      Bazaar dream?...what does it mean

I had the most strangest dream last night…it sounds funny now…but at the time it really didn’t! I had a dream that Barbie dolls and toys were trying to kill me!…they had formed their own government and everything…it was so bazaar. And in my dream I was looking threw this magazine and in the magazine it was talking about the toys government and what they were going to do to me. I remember looking at this magazine in my dream and saying ‘Aw no…this has gotten way out of hand’
Next part of my dream…I had to go into this room and confront them all and do this speech on a podium. The strange thing about this room is that it was my old bedroom from my old house from when I was a kid. The room was really dark…and I couldn’t see them (the dolls and the toys) so this made me feel very vulnerable and I was worried the whole time that one of these Barbie dolls was going to shoot me in the back with a gun. I can’t remember what I said in my ‘speech’ all I can remember saying is ‘I’m really sorry this has happened…I really am’ then I walked out the room. I then went downstairs into the living room were my mum and step dad were…and I asked my step dad to sort all of this out. He then said to me ‘I’m sorry Holly I can’t help you…there’s nothing I can do’ I then started to panic and I asked me mum and she said ‘Your dead.’ And I was like WHAT!! And she said ‘Well lets face it…steve’s right…your dead…their going to kill you and your not going to be able to wake up to get away’
At this point in my dream…I really felt like I was going to throw up…I was sat in the corner in the living room…with my legs crossed crying my eyes out saying ‘What am I going to do! What am I going to do!’ And my mum and step dad were just ignoring me watching the tv…like it wasn’t even happening. Then the front door slowly creaked open…and I new whatever that was…was coming to get me. By this time I had just had enough and I didn’t care what my mum said…I was going to wake up! So I forced myself to wake up…and I did.

I am never going to look at barbie dolls in the same way! hahaha

well barbie dolls are very clear symbols.. they link to perfect women and the need to have perfect hair.. perfect clothes .. and those sorts of women gang together(governments) and define what is right and what others should do. How do such themes relate to your life right now

Its not easy to interpret dreams. Interpreting your own dreams is a lot easier because you are aware of all the associations that you make. Interpreting the meaning of someone else's dream is very tricky. The truth is that most dreams are not really about some abstract and mystical world. Dreams are very much about the complexities of modern real life existence. They are about conflicting emotions and situations where you are making decisions without all the information you require. Yet dreams will often give no clue to the subject matter of the dream. But there are certain things you look for. If the dream is about negative emotions then see what negative emotions you have been experiencing. If you had a frustrating day the day before or there was some single frustrating incident then you have some clues to what the dreams meaning is. If you are thinking about the future or the day ahead then see the frustration as capturing feelings about the near future. But to really understand a dream you need to know that they are often about something or someone in particular. So look for particular incidents from the day before that really captured some change in your outlook. Try to make quotes about how you feel but try to start off such quotes with the word yesterday E.g. "Yesterday my friend was really annoying. She was not supporting me in my moment of need". So you can see that dreams are about something specific not some vague and abstract world. Dreams then relate to the complexities of real life. Thats what makes them so difficult to interpret. When someone interprets your dream they are making some vague and meaningless comments E.g. "you seem to be under some stress or you maybe facing some major challenge". Whilst in reality the dream maybe means something like this "Yesterday I was stressed out at work. My colleague was having a nervous breakdown". So really the dream would not be about the dreamer and its easy to make a mistake over the interpretation. Dreams are so involved in the complexities of modern reality and relationships. We have to refer to dreams in some abstract and general and vague way yet in truth they are often about something and something in particular.
