Stealing from the pope

i had a dream recently, and it perplexes me to no end. era / england, or spain. right before black powder became weaponized in small arms form. I am a pirate(captain); two crew mates (seemed to be good friends with me) and I were in the Popes private courters of his castle. hidden in the corner of the room, we could see a glass coffin. inside the coffin was jeagermeister. multiple bottles. (note; the coffin was green glass) my two mates conversed on how to steal the liquor, to no avail. suddenly, they look at me, and i am grinning mischievously. "Your smiling... Why are you smiling?!?" one of them asked urgently. i tell them to grab the bottles, and run. not to worry about it. as they do this, i run to the pope and light his head on fire. dashing out the door, my mates are far ahead.(we are outside) i feel jolly; not at what i'd done, but just as if actions had no consequences. as i run, guards are sprinting after me, with no luck. however one is able to keep up. (he resembles an old friend from a 6-10 months ago.) i jump over the edge of flight after flight of cement stairs till i reach the bottom, which is cobblestone streets. yet when i look back, he is still behind me. i am laughing, and taunting him in a friendly way. as i run, i start to gain distance between us. up ahead, i see i maiden. (she resembles an ex girlfriend from my hometown 2-4 years ago.) i stop for a brief moment to converse with her, (i said something witty i can't recall) my peruser calls out for her to stop me. the maiden grabs my arm; i ask her to let me go, but she stares at me. (p.s. when running in the street, there are cannons about, and water on my left side, so i am assuming i was at the docks) ************ then i woke up. i wrote some quick notes, then tried to jump back in, but ouldn't fall back asleep. what might you make of this?

Reminds me of the dream I had where I killed Edward Longshanks from Braveheart. The reason I did it was cuz Jesus came running into the castle on a horse with one of those long poles and charged at another guy on a horse but the other guy knocked Jesus off his horse. I decided to take it out on Longshanks so I walked up the stairs into longshanks's quarters and stabbed him in the neck with a big silver sword. I woke up real proud of myself.

Nightster: Stealing from the pope may mean you have some resentment for the church, or authority in general. It may also just mean that you feel you are able to achieve what most cannot (since your friends couldnt steal the bottles before you told them to). Staying ahead of the guards like that would strengthen this feeling that you are above authority. Your feelings sound almost playful, perhaps indicating that you do not fully grasp the consequences of your abilities. Stopping to talk to the woman, since you were being friendly, could mean that you will be brought down by something you would normaly deem harmless or even friendly. How much did she remind you of your ex? If she was your ex, then nostalgia may end up being an obsticle for you. I hope that helped some.

that was incredibly insightfull actually. thank you very much. i should tred with a step of causion perhaps? and what might you mean by "Your feelings sound almost playful, perhaps indicating that you do not fully grasp the consequences of your abilities." i'm not quite sure i understand what you mean by this. if its not too much trouble, would you be able to check my other two posts? i find your ability to reason and understand quite refreshing in a world of chaos. p.s. (i am rather anti- authoritarian. i grew up young, and had a cop for a stepfather. shall we say our views differed slightly.

What I mean to say is the way you described your attitude in the dream gave me the feeling that you were feeling playful. Like a child with a new toy that seemes so fun, even though you dont understand all that it can do. Some things just come to me when I interpret dreams, its hard to say from where. These are what give me that playful feeling about your dream. ...i am grinning mischievously. i feel jolly; not at what i'd done, but just as if actions had no consequences. i am laughing, and taunting him in a friendly way. Is seems as if you are having so much fun doing what you are doing that you dont realize the disaproval of others. That is a better way to put it.

ah, i feel i understand. so its possible in my daily life, i am enjoying myself, without care to the disaprovel of others... or another thing i grasp from this, is since i was succesful to a point, that my abilities outway my ability to comprehend my skill.

Precisely. I'd say both stand a good chance of being true. The first, enjoying yourself while disreguarding others, may just make you seem like an ass lol. The second, more or less not knowing your own strength, could have more negative consequences.
