      scorpion

i read a little bit about the scorpion in dream meanings but mine was a little weird. i was dreaming i was in the sreets at night and noticed this girl i knew (and liked) whom i haven't seen in like 2 years. i started calling her out, but she kind of ignored me and went back into a corner. i went in there to go see if she was there and i see this scorpion. i don't know but for some reason i believe it is the girl who morphed into that scorpion. it starts attacking me, stinging me with its tail, so i just crush it and it just comes back to life as if it was another scorpion and keeps on attacking. i do this many times but it always comes back. i'm just really curious about what it could really mean.

Just to start off by saying that In order to provide an accurate interpretation, it’s usually best to have a lot of background information about the dreamer and what was happening a day or two before the dream, but in general terms the streets at night suggest that you are unconscious (“in the dark”) about some part of yourself.

The image of the girl most likely represents this inner side of you that you are unaware of and not the outer girl because you haven’t seen her for two years so she’s not part of your current life.

The image of a girl in a dream usually relates to the area of feeling values, emotions, and relationships, even a relationship with yourself, that is, how you feel about yourself overall for instance.

What comes to your own mind about the scorpion would be the most important thing, but overall a scorpion in a dream usually is linked with a very important but painful change that’s required of the dreamer. Some value, attitude, belief or behavior that you have must be transformed in some significant way.

If not, the dream seems to be saying in this case that you will continue to be “attacked”. This can take one of many forms such as being depressed, bored, or feeling angry all the time etc. etc., or it can appear in the form of headaches, having stomach upsets, or being sick a lot of the time etc.

You could try thinking back to a day or two just before the dream to see if anything comes to mind. Something might click to provide a clue about how you might have to begin to gradually change something related to emotions and feeling values for example.

Anyway, I hope these ideas will help you find the true message of your dream.

thanks for your reply. well, i was thinking about the same thing regarding my feelings and how i should change them. i guess the scorpion attacking me is a way of saying that i should move on with things and forget about some girl i haven't seen for such a long time. thanks again for helping me on this.

From the dreams we get we can often tell exactly how someone is thinking and feelings. Thats if the symbols are straightforward. Here there is a girl you like and she turns into a scorpion. This maybe symbolises a moment that you were rejected by a girl... who became scorpiuon like... full of venom. So you then turn scorpion like. Maybe it captures this type of feeling "I really fancied that girl.. it makes me really bitter feeling that rejection. "

Dreams link to how we feel.. mostly from the day before..

      ------------------------
Dreams seem to be linked to brain functions. The dream mind is a conceptual one in that it links to higher thinking. Ideas of an intellectual nature come from the dream mind. But emotional feelings are also part of our higher thinking. They too are quite sophisticated by nature. Dreams compare one thing to another. Dreams also tend to use any symbol in as deeper a way as they can. Therefor a war will hardly ever represent some actual war but will rather represent some symbolic battle within your mind or some relationship that is verging on warfare.
