Hey Spirit, I have this one strange dream that I can't understand, it's on a seperate thread already, but nobody has answered it...I don't think they will cause it's been a few days already since I posted it, so I thought maybe you could help me interpret it! It started out with me and my mom standing in my garage, Then out of nowhere she suddenly decided that she wanted this really expensive car ( which wasn't a surprise because she does like exquisite or expensive things) so she said that the only way to make enough money to buy her car was to send me out to the end of my street and sell Kaleidascopes to people who were driving by. so I start out to the end of my street when I see this boy that I'm friends with at my school. he was walking by himself,crying. So I go over to him and ask what is wrong, and he says "everyone hates me" I start to feel bad and say "I don't hate you." so to help him feel better I carry him to my front porch, and start hugging him. then I begin to have this really strong feeling of happiness, because I knew that I was helping him feel better. but when he leaves and I go back into my house, my mom yells at me and makes me feel sad because I didn't run the sweeper. (My mom often makes me feel sad and unwanted when she yells at me, sometimes I don't even understand why she yells at me.) This dream was really strange to me because the boy who was "hated by everyone" is very well-liked at school. BUT that is not the only dream that I've had about him being hated, there are many other instances. Thanks!

Hi, I'm so glad I found this site. I have very detailed dreams and have always wanted someone to help me figure them out. I am a 42 year old female, happily married with one child. I would like to pursue healing. I had this dream about a month ago and it keeps coming back to me. I was in South America in a very dense forest. I had some people with me, however I did not know who they were. I had the impression we were part of an scientific expedition team. We were looking for a very reclusive indigenous tribe. As we came closer to the camp, we noticed high in the trees bamboo cages with toucans in them. I automatically new these natives made the cages and kept and fed the birds and used them as a early alarm system. When we came within distance of the camp a witch doctor appeared. He had a very evil and frightening air about him. He looked like an Aztec Indian. He had a headdress of macaw feathers and a slanted forehead with a big hook nose. He directed himself only at me. When he opened his mouth all different types of geographical magazines spewed out. I took one of them and started turning the pages and came to a picture of a desert in Africa. I knew the people that use to live there had all died out. The witch doctor was using the different pictures to gain his power. I then took the magazine and told him these people in Africa were extinct and he had no power over me. I them remember my face changed into the face of a seal. I felt calm and peaceful. The witch doctor then tuned to dust in the wind and I woke up. Any help you can give me is very appreciated. Winkle

Hi Evening, i felt like writing today! About your dream, I dont think dreams have ONE meaning exactly or ONE message... every non lucid dream is a collection of subconscious memories, desires, processes, etc. IMHO, its way more complicated than just saying: "this means that, and that means this"... That being said, usually i think a DC represents something you want to integrate into your daily experience and knowledge of yourself and the world. For example: you were in the garage and your mom wanted a new expensive car... that could be a subconscious processing of the fact that you think your mom is very attatched to material things. Also she wanted you to get the money for it... maybe you feel, subconscioulsy, that she expects too much from you, or she usually makes unreasonable demands from you. So you go out and meet this boy that is very well-liked in school (just like youre very well-liked by your mom) and he tells you that he is hated (just like you feel sometimes unwanted or 'hated' by your mom when she yells at you or demands unreasonable things). You try to calm him down, which is the part of your Self that knows everything is fine trying to calm down that part of you that feels sad and 'hated' sometimes because people and life dont always make sense (like Moms!) So you feel happy because you integrate that experience in a subconscious level, or in other words, you understand this fact of life on a deeper, more 'gut' level. But THEN you go back home (back to reality and everyday life) and your mom is mad at you etc. That is because back in the real life, just understading that things are painfull and confused doesnt by itself take the pain and confusion away, it only helps you cope better with the weirdness of life... The fact that you dream often with this boy being hated maybe a sign that he represents a part of yourself that you are in a process of understanding. Perhaps he is the confusion you feel about your home life (being loved and yelled at the same time)... He 'lives in your street', which could be a metaphor for saying he is a part of your daily home routine... the subconscious loves metaphors...! We often project parts of ourselves in other people and then dream about them, when we are actually dreaming about ourselves... Of course, this is just my guess... I could be completley wrong! Dont take me too seriously... TBW
