Dream of husband attacking me

Hi all, I'm new and it's so nice to meet you all I have had lucid dreams but this one wasn't and I believe it, of course, to be symbolic of something in my life. But, what, I have no idea and it was very scary! My husband is a very kind, easy-going man and wouldn't hurt a fly. However, in this dream, a few days ago, he kept attacking me on the head with a blunt instrument, trying to make it bleed. I had forgotten about the dream and my husband told me the next that I had been crying out, which jogged my memory about it. It was an awful nightmare and I was terrified, I do remember that. Would anyone have any insight or inkling into what's happening here, please? I've tried to interpret it, but for the life of me cannot figure it out. Usually I can interpret most of my dreams. My spam folder put all my Dreamview emails in its folder and I didn't check until now. In reply to your interpretation, I don't feel that I am really as I do try my best for everyone. Having said that though, there are probably instances where I feel that I have let him down, so maybe I feel I deserve what I got. Then again, I'm sure we all feel that sometimes with each other. Hi Slade, Hmm that could be a thought, although he's not the sort of person to horde secrets and never has been and I'm pretty sure he's not keeping one from me. As to your second comment, yes I do agree with you there. Why it would show up in my dream now after many years of marriage is a bit of a mystery, however.
