Hello! I could use a little help interpreting a dream.

This was a section in a dream I had - my dreams almost always skip around to various settings with various people. I'm not sure whether or not to take it at face value.

I was in an auditorium at a high school near me, except the walls were light green and the lights were somewhat bright. Nothing was occurring on stage, but every seat in the auditorium was filled. The auditorium was divided into three seating sections, two smaller ones on the outside and a large one in the middle. I was on the left side of the large middle section, near the back, and three seats away from the aisle. The man to my right said to me, "Dude, she came to say goodbye to you." I'm confused and look to my left, and sitting there is a girl that I used to be in love with (though the feeling was never returned), but we were friends. Also the school auditorium I was in was her high school's. I looked back to the man on the right (who was a stranger) and he said, "She wanted to say goodbye before she left, especially to you." I looked back at the girl and she was smiling at me and began leaning towards me, then the rest of that section of the dream was us kissing.

I'm thinking it's just symbolizing how far apart we've grown, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help? I get the feeling this dream is very significant to me somehow.

Maybe you do didn't wan't to break up the way you did.

then something else immediately becomes ugly

But really the bough exists because of the fruit.
