Smile I programmed my sleep to go to the sun and this is what happened!

I was with someone I knew and we were standing
on some type of line to see someone.

This being had a glow of light about him. He had unleaven bread
sitting on his desk. I think he was eating that unleaven bread.

One person in front of us went up to him and gave him a long
hug and she was overwhelmed with emotion. I stepped ahead
and glimpsed him and was also overwhelmed with emotion.

      Then I woke up.

      Any thoughts?

PS: If you would like to program your sleep to THOUGHT-TRAVEL
to The Sun, just say the following out loud before you go to sleep:

"I WISH TO GO TO THE SUN."

Then go to sleep and your mind will appear
on the light world called "The Sun"

Post up what you experienced there!

Looks like you went to the Son instead of the Sun. Your subconscious likes making puns, I see.

Dreams tend to link to the things that we find interesting. If we watched a program on tv that felt particularly relevant then it can trigger a dream. Its the same with these programmed deams.

Though I never feel that these have any genuine messages connected to them. Though this one seems to have captuyred your predominate emotions at the time - its quite a spiritual dream.

      -----------------------------
Dreams may seem fantastical yet in reality they do reflect the way that we see life. The wolves chasing us do remind us of the way life feels when there are problems. On other days a more peaceful and serene scene may capture exactly that mood of calmness inside you. Sometimes we feel that self same sense that nothing is wrong with the world. Dreams then do capture our feelings. But try to link together the real life mood with the dream symbols. Think of the specific moods inside you. Think of how you woke up eager and ready for the day ahead in anticipation of some new challenge. How would you portray that in a dream if all you had were images? Think of moments when you lie awake in bed worrying and clarifying some issue. How could that be portrayed in dreams?

Well, divine figures and the sun have historically been connected, so it's not just a pun, but also drawing on a metaphor. I think this connection isn't so important, as is what is experienced. If it was meaningful, then that meaning is what you got out of it.

      Hi Everyone;
I would say that it is symbolic of Christ or God, or someone like that. This makes me interested as to what your spiritual beliefs (if any) are, and how the dream pertains to that.

I am a Christian and I believe that the dream is Spirit.

Thats really cool. As a Christian, I have only received a couple of dreams that I know are inspired from God, and they're always meaningful.

      Peter,

I have discovered new meaning to prayer.
When you pray to God in The name of Jesus Christ -
Pay attention to the dream you get that night.
God replies in the form of a dream that same night!
      Did you know this?

GOD CAN REPLY TO ME IN WHATEVER WAY HE FEELS NECESSARY! /cry

Sorry, I had to make that joke after I was atheist for 6 years.

@the topic... I will say that tonight and see how it goes. Hopefully it wont be like the dream I had last night... /shudder.
