      Loss of balance while dreaming

I learned how to become lucid while dreaming a few years ago, as of recently while dreaming I have absolutely no balance and keep falling over constantly in my dreams. This started maybe a year ago, and it seems that any dream I can remember the same thing always happens. Sometimes I will be drunk in my dream, and thats how I subconciously justify the loss of balance, but most of the time I will just be having conversations, or walking accross the room, doing some random activity, and I will not have any balance and keep falling or running into walls to stop myself from falling. Any ideas why?

Dreams are, sometimes, playing games with us. If you are lucid, as you say, try to ask your dream the same question: Why am I falling in my dreams so often? Maybe the dream will give you an answer.

I have asked myself that question in my dreams, and there is no real answer. I kind of think that its one of those situations where if somebody tells you "dont think of the color red" you automatically do. Another part of the dream is that I feel like I have to try and hide my loss of balance from everyone else. Maybe its more of a physical problem? Perhaps the way I am laying down, or something shuts off in my brain while Im sleeping.

Don't ask yourself, because it is obvious that you don't know the answer. Ask your dream. Unless, you feel uneasy about doing it.
