Escaping army battle, then stuck in shrinking elevator

I had the weirdest dream today, where I was inside a large boat hangar while there was a huge naval fleet docking. Then I found myself going to the elevator to go to the upper level. I can't remember if the elevator was moving, but the doors were closed and it kept shrinking while I was trying to press the buttons. When it came to the point where I was stuck between the elevator sides, I woke up. This is really confusing me. Any idea what this dream means?

If you really want to delve into it, it could mean that every time you get out of a problem ( the army ) and find a way out ( the elevator ) the way out causes you more problems than you originally had and leaves you with only one option ( waking up ) Also, you should start a dream journal.
