      Unable to Describe in title

Well. I guess I should begin with this. Post high-school male, aged 17. Straight. When I dream, it is like watching one channel. Different shows come on when the previous is over. The following dream from a previous night is the dream I had directly prior to waking.

I find myself wandering through the second floor what seems to be my old school, which I found odd because I've been out of high school for a couple of months now. Anyways. I wander from classroom to classroom, trying to read the nameplates on the doors. Other students begin rushing in to their classrooms. I head to a room that doesn't exist in the school, and try to read a nameplate on the desk of the teacher, however for some reason my eyes are now blurry. I leave and head downstairs and to the office, hoping to get my schedule, but the office doors are locked at this point. So I go over to the next room, the guidance office. I walk in and it is empty. So I sit down and wait for somebody to show up. Then a familiar face, my Co-op teacher from my final semester shows up, apparently a guidance counselor in my dream. He looks at me and doesn't seem to recognize me. He says to me something along the lines of "You must be one of the 'new girls'." There was something about how he said new girls, the way you might accentuate something with finger quotes, possibly implying I'm not the only student like this. My mouth moves on its own. "Yes, that's right, my name is [name]." He looks at me, and is a bit confused. I look down at myself, and I am completely female, and a lot slimmer I might add. I am not sure whether this is due to 'magic' or gender reassignment surgery. The guidance counselor says to me. "[name], are you sure you've made the right decision? There's no turning back now." Once again, my mouth moves on it's own. "It was my choice. I was tired of having a penis." Inside my head I was shouting 'What the hell is going on here?' My body begins moving on it's own and grabs a male student from the hallway and proceeds to kiss him. As my mind screams out in revulsion, I begin to wake.

Now, I'll say this. I do often think about what it is like as the opposite gender, but I'm nowhere near the point of considering gender reassignment surgery. Furthermore, I'm appalled by the very thought of kissing another male.

Help understanding my mess of a mind would be quite appreciated.

Ignorance is a gateway to a world that should never be. Where ifs and buts never were, because nothing ever happens.
