Interpretation Please

I keep having dreams with my ex-best guy friend in them. And it's driving me insane. We were pretty close and ended up admitting that we liked each other near the end of school last year. But then some kind of complicated and overly dramatic situation happend a week after the confession...sooo we stopped talking. And things hav'nt been the same sense (hence the "ex"). I did'nt talk to him at all during the summer. And I hav'nt talked to him sense school started this year either. Not even a word. Lately I have been having these dreams about him. But its never the same. The only thing that is, is him being in them. Here is one of my dreams: I remember I was in front of my computer desk with a phone in my hand. I started to dial a number unwillingly. As it rang I felt I had to go to my room and shut the door so no one would hear what was going to be said or somthing. I realize the number I had dialed was HIS number and frantically began to press the end button to hang up. But it would'nt work and I started to feel frustrated and scared. He got picked up the phone. First I heard him talking to a female in the backround in a hushed tone (one of his sisters or mother). I heard bits and peices that were like this: "Are you sure about this...? ....I mean After what happend...?" The Next part is a little odd and It gets a bit hazy near the end. Then he started to play music into the phone. I told him that the first two songs he played were my "favorite" (they were my favorite in the dream). And unfortunatly thats all I remember. Ive had more dreams with him in them but im sure you dont want to hear me drone on and on, so I just mentioned one of the more recent ones. I just want to kn.ow why I am having these dreams and what they mean.

I'm not really good at interpreting dreams, but the phone kind of sounds like you want to talk to your old friend again. Also seems like you regret the falling out you had between eachother, imo. The accidental dialing strikes me as a fear of talking to your guy friend because you're worried about what he'll say. Just my opinion .

...wow, thats really good. Almost like your psychic or something. But I feel like Im over him (well atleast thats what i keep telling myself, lol)..., I mean we havn't talked in what seems like forever. Thanks for the interpretation I feel it was almost spot on.

Lately I have been having these dreams about him. But its never the same. This dream looks like you'd like to contact your ex again, and a lot. We don't dream of people who don't matter if we don't see them often! And you say that you didn't talk to him for a lot of time. According to the dream you're afraid of contacting him because you're afraid of his reaction, that he has another girl already and wouldn't want to talk. "After what happened" sounds as if he was voicing your own thoughts and not really talking to that other female, i.e. you're afraid that he wouldn't want to talk to you after what happened and would reject your attempts. When he starts playing music, that still signifies fear, because you still aren't talking to him on the phone. That's a breakthrough, though, at least you're communicating through music! When you say that these are your favorite songs, it's a good sign, that means that your communication was successful. So, you have hope that it's possible for you two to communicate in a pleasant way. Overall a dream is about your desire to talk to that boy and your fear of his reaction, in my opinion. Maybe try that? You certainly still feel something towards him, you wouldn't be dreaming of calling him otherwise. I hope that helped. Thanks so much. That was brilliant! It really made me stop and think about how I truely feel. I suppose I was just lieing to myself in order to distance myself from the underlying facts. Know that I think about it, I guess I was trying to convince myself that I was completely over him. But apparently my conscience knows better. Though I really wish I could simply just forget about him because it would make things less complicated. But I still feel the need to avoid him at all cost. Grrrr! I need a distraction or something! Mabey I should go buy a boyfriend, lol. That would definatly keep my mind off of things, right? Lol, just kidding. I wish things were simple and I knew exactly who Im meant to be with. That way I could just avoid all those dramatic and petty heartbreaks all together. ...Sounds good to me. But anyway. Thankyou so much. You helped decipher my stupid mind. Now I just have to gather up enough courage to make a feeble attempt to reconnect with him on a friend level. (...sigh...) I can see it now: I finally decide to talk to him. On my way over to his table I tragicaly trip over an imaginary line (being the clutz I am) and fall on my face. Embarrassed, I quickly get up and run the opposite direction. The next day the word has spread through out my tiny school and everyone is talking (more like laughing) about it. For the rest of the school year I cower at my desk and hope no one will remember the whole ordeal. Yep! That sounds about accurate. With my luck I might even fall on a piece of old chewed up gum. Yay! Memorys! (sarcasm) lol And yes I am a bit cynical... Thanks for listening to my petty problems.
