old dreams, but can you interpret?

I remember a couple early dreams. I was wondering if any of you experts could give me your opinion. i think the first one might have been lucid when i was little, but back then I had no idea what that meant.

the first one, I couldn't have been more than 4 because of the house I was living in. I remember I would fly all around the neighborhood. was able to fly whenever I wanted to, although I only could stay a few feet above the ground. I remember when I was little, I thought I could really fly, I didn't really realize it was a dream.

the second dream was a horrible nightmare. It's kind of hard to explain, but it was the worst dream I had when I was little. I was sleeping in the top bunk of a bunk bed, and my cat was sleeping with me. All of a sudden the hallway had lights kinda swirling, I guess like a dance club would have. And then, has anyone seen the old home alone movies? where the kid ties cardboard figures to a toy train, so they glide around the room? thats what it looked like going past my bedroom door, except it wasn't michael jordan, it was scary skeleton men, and things like that. then i woke up, and i could still see them. it really freaked me out, so i threw my blanket over my head and just laid there hugging my cat. that scared me so much i literally slept with the blankets over my head for years, with just a crack so i could breath. anyways, thats it.

Well, they both sound like typical dreams for a little kid to have. The "hidden message" center isn't quite developed. I don't really believe in hidden messages in dreams, but to an extent, I believe they have a meaning. This doesn't really happen in childhood though. Something interesting you brought up in the second dream, though. You could still see the skeletons after you woke up? 3 Things I think it could be ( there could be another explanation )

      1) A false awakening. Basically, you wake up inside of another dream

      2) Hypnagogic Imagery induced by sleep paralysis.

      3) I have heard reports of people hearing strange dream like sounds after they wake up. Apparently, the brain will sometimes keep creating the dream for up to a minute after the dream ends. I have only heard of sounds being produced afterwards, but I suppose you could keep seeing things.
