Someone tried to kill my mom in my dream

In my dream, I was going to the movies with my mom. We were at the theater, and while I was putting butter on my popcorn, she disappeared. I went back to the car to look for her, but in the front seat, all that was there was her purse. I looked in the backseat, (It's an SUV, so there are three rows), the far back, and I saw a dark shadow in the shape of a guy. I freaked out. I pulled out my phone and dialed 911, but then I realized that I was freaking out and called my dad instead. As I was talking, I started out sort of calm, only screaming a few of the words. After a while of talking, though, I started screaming everything. Eventually, I was just screeching. My mom was gone. There was someone in our car. MY MOM WAS GONE! The police came and helped me. I don't really remember what happened here, I only remember that I wanted to talk to my boyfriend and tell him what was going on. We finally wound up in a huge cornfield. We found her lying right off the side. She was just laying there. I freaked out. She looked dead. She was only unconscious. When she came back, I was crying. I thought she was dead. We went back to the car. My two brothers were with us. When we got in the car, the guy was still in the back. I freaked out. We sat in the car with the lights on, and I saw the guy. He was our goofy, annoying neighbor. (He was actually nobody I knew, but in the dream, I knew that this boy was our annoying neighbor.) I wanted to kill him for hurting my mom. I never did find out exactly what happened or if it was the annoying kid who tried to kill my mom. What does this dream mean?
