A Race, using a ribbon to fly, chasity, and love? What?

Ok, I just woke up from this dream... I don't remember a whole lot of the dream. Ok the parts that I remember is that I was in a race, and I was sort of flying but I was using some sort of a magical ribbon, I was either standing or sitting on it. The ribbon was red. There was other people in this race too.... Ummm Before the race I think I made a mistake towards someone ah... Well.... Halfway, I was being controlled by the girl I like, ummm but afterwards I was able to get out of her control and I started to catch up with the other people with the race... One of them was my friend. There was other people in the race that I know too. That's what I can remember from the dream but I do remember some themes in the dream.... I know the dream involved a race, flying, using a ribbon to fly... chasity and love. I know this dream is very vauge but that's what I can remember. If anybody out there knows what this random and very weird dream means, just comment... Thank you!!!

Hi The color red seems to stand out. To me it is symbolic of passion. The girl may stand for emotions and your emotional side which "tries" to influence you but you do not allow it...but rather continue with the race...a race seems like a boys thing as oppose to the girl tries to interfer. Maybe you are an intelectual kind of a guy which is great, but need to bring more passion into a situation you are involved in. Maybe

Do you mean chastity or chasity? Well chastity....isn't it when you do not act on your passion? so it is *symbolically* goes with the idea of passion or lack of passion.

Chastity.. Sorry I misspelt it... Well the thing is, I haven't seen this girl in a long time but I have talked to her over the phone and e-mail but very little. It's due to me being busy and her being busy too... We both go to two different schools. So yah... Ummm so because of that situation the relationship lacks passion? Is that it?

well I guess you should tell whether your relationship has or lack passion. I am not sure whether the dream is about your relationship with the girl. But anyway if things are not balanced you can learn about yourself, how you manage a relationship. Let's say if for example you are a competitive ambitious kinda guy at the expense of an intimate relationship...well maybe in such a case you may want to meet the two ends halfway...find a balance. Chastity is like an extreme way to intimacy by avoiding it altogether. You get to choose whether to live by extremes or to accomodate and balance...and that's hold true for everything in life i guess.

Well, it could all mean so much. The first thought I had was some link between the red ribbon and the umbilical cord. The other parts of the dream can also relate to birth, but as with all these things they could mean something quite different. Does any of that strike a cord. I mean, chord Also, Red can often mean passion, anger and suchlike.
