Thread: Cutting my huband- please interpret

I had a dream last night that really spooked me. I am not able to interpret the combination of symbols.

In the dream, I was looking at my husband's back, admiring the muscles. Then, I took something sharp, and I cut a neat square, removing all of the muscles of his back just to look at them. After looking at them, I tried to put the muscles back, but they wouldn't fit just right. The edges were flaky, like they'd been cooked. He talked to me the whole time.

I did the same thing to his right arm.


It did not feel gruesome or sadistic in the dream. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks!

I would say that the inspection and admiration of his muscles would suggest a deeper admiration for him, possibly for something that he has done for you or someone recently. On the other hand, I could also summise that the chargrilled effect of his flesh would indicate something that you don't like about him, maybe his attitude towards a personal issue?

As for the cutting from the back and the right arm, would suggest that this symbolises your ability to ignore your first impressions of his reaction and look deeper to find his better qualities.

I concur with M. Willow. You are showing a deeper appreciation of his body, that your admiration is not just superficial but sincere and with depth, maybe appreciation and wonderment for the work he's put into his body to make him look as he does. That would be my take.
