Very sad (and very weird and complex) dream

Hi! I've got to have someone interpret this dream I've been having over several days:

In the near future, genetically-engineered cat-people have been created, and are sold as pets. The dream focuses on one, an 11 year-old serval cat-person, named Chloe. Chloe’s owners, whom she refers to as her mom and dad, are an academic neuropsychiatrist and a private practice cardiologist, respectively. Chloe spends a lot more time with her mom due to her easier work schedule, as her dad is almost constantly either in the catheterization lab or on inpatient consults, while her mom is either lecturing or seeing patients in her office. Since she is a serval, she is classified by the federal government as an “exotic”, which requires her parents to post a $1,000,000 bond in case she ever injures some one; if she did, she would have to be euthanized. Personality-wise, she is very friendly, although somewhat shy, most likely due to her anxiety about being the only exotic cat-person at her school, which is populated by humans and domestic cat-people. She is either well-liked or politely avoided by her classmates. One day, she witnesses her best friend being ruthlessly teased by a bully on the playground. She yells at the bully to stop hurting her friend. The bully death-glares at her, and spits on her friend. At this, she “loses her mind”, goes berserk, hisses, leaps up into the air, extends her claws, and dives right into the bully’s chest. The bully is now on the ground, bleeding and moaning. An ambulance is called and he is rushed to ICU. Chloe is now sobbing uncontrollably, having little recollection of the events that just transpired. The police also arrive, and arrest Chloe, put her in shackles and leg irons, muzzle her, and transport her to a special facility for exotic cat-people that have acted violently. Her parents are called, and the bond is forfeited. Also, by law, Chloe must be executed by lethal injection of anesthetic. She pleads with guards to spare her life, who can do nothing but comfort her. She has one last, brief but tear-jerking conversation with her mom and dad before she is wheeled into the backroom, where the euthanasia will take place. Chloe is sobbing. The lady who would perform the euthanasia stroked Chloe’s hair, said that she was a good kitty-girl, and the event putting her in this position was an accident, and that the harsh law was in a great need of mercy. She then placed the IV in Chloe’s right arm, and activated the infusion pump. Throughout the dream, “To Where The Skies Are Blue” by Deadlock, is playing.

Info about me to help interpret this: I have two Siamese cats, who I've gotten after waiting nearly two decades (I used to be violently allergic). This is the only dream that has ever made me cry in bed; I felt like I was watching a close friend dying or being executed in front of me. I had two past dogs when I was much younger, one was put to sleep b/c of pancreatitis, the other we had to give away b/c of my allergies. I also enjoy viewing well-done artwork of anthropomorphic animals.

That's a pretty clear and exact summary. I'd say the cats and what happened are symbols of an erratic and vague pessimism. Maybe a wish for more warmth in a relationship (fiance, family).
My opinion is exaxtly as worthless as yours. Yeah, I'm from Germany. Very spooky.

No, I don't have transcendental powers, I'm just good at this. WTF has dream interpretation to do with birth dates, zodiac signs or the color of one's underwear? PLEASE, people, put away the crack pipe!

I'm not very good (but not terrible, either) at forming relationships; I either stay too far or get too close.

That might be it. Fear of loosing and fear of being hurt whilst investing too much into a relationship. Ah, crap. I wanna live in Long Beach, too. *lol*

Yeah, that sounds right. Btw, forgive me, but I don't get your last sentence. Long Beach is quite a great place to live, if you can ignore the jets taking off and landing.
