2 Scorpions recurrent dream. Choking.

Hello I've been having weird dreams. Yesterday: I dreamt that between my shirt and my jacket there were 2 scorpions. One was big and the other was smaller. They were both black scorpions. I didn't care about them being so close to me and some time later I noticed they were both dead between my clothes. It's weird this is all I remember of the dream even though it was very very long. Today: I dreamt again about the two scorpions and they were still dead. It was a very quick "shot" of them but I noticed them there. I also choked a lot with something that looked like a piece of meat that would never end. I put my hand inside my mouth to take it off but it kept coming. I couldn't take everything out. And then, if I remember well, the only person around who helped me was my girlfriend? Maybe these dreams have something to do with main stuff that is going on my life: I'm going to lawschool next week and my girlfriend is leaving the country for 5 months because of the student exchange program she's taking. What about this?

There is something close you (the scorpions in your shirt that are close to your “heart”) that could cause great pain......upcoming separation from your lover. You can or will have stinging emotional pain and only your girlfriend can help you stop this problem. You are having many discussions....or you are talking too much.... Why does your subconscious associate too much talking with "vomit"? (Not getting enough "action" cuz of all the talking?)

Well your girlfriend will be leaving. Is there anything special about her. Perhaps she manages to change your behavior for the positive. Snakes and scorpions can symbolise negative emotions - jealousies... nasty comments and atmospheres. Hi fcf2, Scorpions are traditional symbols for death, but death in dreams is most often symbolic of change, like you die to the old self, and a new self is born. I think you and your girl friend are the two scorpions (she's smaller), and with you going to law school and her going to a student exchange program, and with the five month separation, there is obviously a lot of change going on for both of you. I tend to agree with Liz... that red meat sounds like a tongue! Vomiting often is verbal. If you are nervous about all this change, maybe you are feeling pressured to talk too much, when perhaps something quiet like meditation or a hike in the woods, or the contrary: vigorous exercise of some kind, would be better ways to help you get to a place where you can sort out your feelings. Five months isn't forever, after all! You can probably get back together again even stronger if you really care about each other. It should be an exciting and challenging time for both of you!
