My Dearest Dream god, What have you done?

So I was talking to a friend about a dream I had this morning. I thought it was pretty interesting, if not, totally bizarre. It has a nice twist after I wake up from the dream that took me aback a bit. So, I was thinking of how others would interpret this dream, because honestly, I do not know. I hope you enjoy it. =D I found myself in an underground building. It looked pretty normal, like every other office building I've seen. I needed to pee really badly so I headed to the womens restrooms. When I arrived I noticed a huge tube sticking out from the ceiling, and like the curious kid I am, I decided to climb it and see where it led. The tube was only about five foot high. Once I got to the top I discovered it was another restroom, except, it was the mens room. I was a little embarrassed at first, but I thought I was being silly. Then my, uh, friend came out of one of the stalls and he gave me a strange look. He then started talking to me. While he was talking the room started changing and I now found myself and my friend with a group of people. There weren't many people, they were all scattered around the room and my friend was across from me about twenty feet or so. There was this girl who was clinging to me, she was about 15 and had very long dirty blonde hair that hung in her face and she wore a pale white sleep shirt. I had my arm around her and I was keeping her close to me, she seemed a bit scared for some reason and I wanted her to feel safe. I gave her a gold coin I found in my pocket and then she bolted out of the room. My friend and I looked at each other in surprise and started running after her. The dream changed, I was running down a stone hallway by myself and I was looking for someone. I was still underground and in the same building, but the layout was completely different. The walls were a bit damp and the hallway itself was a bit tubular, with a stone tiled floor. The person I was looking for, from what I can remember, was a man who was killing immortal beings, which just sounds impossible...but he was. I saw one man laying on the ground, all deformed looking, when I saw him I immediately thought of the girl. He had a weird weapon in his hand which made me think that this was the man I was looking for. When I reached him I started screaming, "Morpheus, Morpheus, what have you done?" He just looked at me and wouldn't speak. I continued to question him (more of an interrogation), but he still wouldn't talk. By this time I started to think that I've missed something. I thought back to what I knew and as I was leaning over top of Morpheus when the thought hit me, If he was the killer then why would be on the ground looking like this? By the time I realize this, it was too late. I can see a mans arm reach down and shoot Morpheus in the head. I was so focused on Morpheus that I didn't see what the man looked like. And that is when I woke up. After I woke up I thought over the name 'Morpheus', I had never heard it before and I thought the name was really weird and sounded a bit mytholgical so I decided to look it up. To my surprise, I found that Morpheus is the greek god of dreams. I thought that was pretty weird. Anyway, I thought the dream was interesting. =) If anyone has any ideas about what it could mean then let me know your thoughts, they would be greatly appreciated. =D

The Greek god of dreams...it sounds interesting. Did you join today because of that reason? If so, you might be starting something huge. Like, either a big dream, or maybe something in your life, or something. Just describe the next dream you remember, and I'll see if it's just random and getting all worked up for nothin'. Mooses? Ah, kind of. I've been sort of browsing over the site for the past few days and then when I had this dream I thought I might as well join and share it. I thought the coincidence of having a dream with Morpheus in it while not even knowing that name was pretty strange and to be honest I thought it was really cool, haha. =p But, this dream compared to my normal dreams...this is perhaps one of the most tame. Nothing too big, but I'll update on this after I wake up tomorrow.

I thought the coincidence of having a dream with Morpheus in it while not even knowing that name was pretty strange and to be honest I thought it was really cool, haha. =p But, this dream compared to my normal dreams...this is perhaps one of the most tame. Nothing too big, but I'll update on this after I wake up tomorrow. Sounds like a kind of cryptomnesia. You probably heard the name Morpheus somewhere (have you seen any of the Matrix movies?) and then forgot about it, but your subconscious still contained the information and used it in a dream.

You're probably right. Although, I can't remember ever hearing it anywhere and I haven't seen the Matrix movies. Oh wells, it wasn't too important, just random =D
