      Dream Interpretation Help.

I had a really odd dream a few days ago it was really vivid and I normally can't remember my dreams but this was so clear I can remember even the smallest details. The dream goes like this I was laying in my bed and I herd this demonic growls and screeches. There was a oddly shaped bowl that Ive never seen before. The growls seemed to be coming from the bowl, so I grabbed a hammer and tried to smash the bowl but it wouldn't shatter. I ran down stairs with the bowl and hammer in hand, I laid the hammer down on a chair and there was this large brown spotted Jaguar(It wasn't making the growls) there. I immediately felt calm (Before I was in a panic) and I toss the bowl out the back door and that was the end of the dream.

I posted it on Yahoo! Answers but got no good responses. So I decided to go here where people may be more experienced.

When you saw the Jaguar did the growls cease or did they just no longer bother you? What was the Jaguar doing? Also why were you panicking? Did you fear the creatures making the sounds would attack you or something else?

When I saw the Jaguar the noises no longer bothered me. The jaguar was just laying there staring at me. The sounds scared me cause I have always had a fear of demons, the very idea of a demon sends a chill down my spine.

Well it seems like there has been demons in you life but in the modern sense. Maybe you've had issues between someone or something but maybe you never recongised it as an issue before hence the unknown bowl. Maybe now you're trying to lash out against these problems (in dreams hammers can represent trying to deal with old demons) but you're anxious. You're maybe worried that these issues may never be destroyed so you look for another method. You put down the hammer and see the Jaguar a symbol that represents strenght and agility. This new found strenght offers you new prespective and so you are no longer afraid you are at peace and your inner or outer demons can no longer touch you.

Basically what I mean to say is that I think your trying to break away from what you percieve as your own demons but maybe you've not been going about destroying them in the right way. Try a new perspective. Hope this helps ~S

Btw I once had a dream about demons. It was the first dream I had ever had that featured something truly sinister in it. Turns out that a book I was reading The Lucifer Effect by psychologist Philip Zimbardo was bothering. The title had negative connotations and my subconcious picked up on it in a dream How have you been feeling since you've had that dream? I know I was a bit freaked out for a couple days after mine.

I was just attempting to interpret another members dream and they said that they think their dream may have been influence by the media, a tv series. Things like Supernatural would defiantely give me an unsettling dream. Btw glad your okay : ) bad dreams plain suck!
