Very strange dream, about not being able to do something.

Ok, this dream might sound very far fetched, but I swear I did have it. I've been using a dream journal which is great for remembering.

Ok, well a vampire took me hostage in his car. He gave me a poem, and told me to write it out perfectly, with no mistakes, on the window of his car. I had 3 chances, or he'd kill me. I kept doing it wrong, I can't remember exactly, but I think rain was making it run of the window, or my hands kept slipping and smudging it.

Either way, despite doing it wrong repeatidly, he never killed me. I just did it over and over again, never getting it right until I woke up.

In between doing it I went on msn and told somebody, but he just said 'wow, that's cool' back, hinting that he didn't believe me.

I wouldn't really call it a nightmare though, but very strange.

So, what do you think it could mean? Thank you )

That sounds like a standard anxiety dream to be. Similar to not being able to find your locker or not being able to remember the combination on your lock.

It is a powerful dreamsign, do you have these often?

It almost sounds as if the vampire was trying to make you realize you were dreaming without actually telling you outright. I say this because usually its hard or impossible to read things.

well, the best peron to interpit your dreams is you. What does the vampire mean to you? was there anyting signifigant about the poem you were writing? how did you feel during the dream? Whats going on in your life right now? Try to anwser these quesitons and the meaning will be very easy to find.

I have had a lot of these dreams, and on looking back on them, and what was going on in my life at the time, i discovered i was quite a frustrated person, and that this was reflected in my dreams by various 'impossible tasks', similar to yours, my most recent one concerned the atm machine, and my bank card.
Is there something in your life that you feel you might be struggling with, is there something on your mind that is worrying or bothering you?
I often find that personally my dreams do reflect what is going on in my life, and in keeping my dream journal, i have become aware of myself in such a way, that the dreams enable me to discover where there might be areas that i need to look at more closely, before they become a problem.
Feel free to read my journal and leave comments, the best thing about dreaming i think is that you sometimes find you can relate to other people's dreams, and that helps you deal with them.
I hope this helps you a little!
