I have been lurking here for the last two weeks, and I have finally decided to join the forum and get serious.
If I had not run across this site, I would have said that I am a person that just doesnt dream. However, I have been working on my dream recall abilities, and now I would have to say differently. I the first night that I really decided to work towards Lucid dreaming was the night before thanksgiving, while I was at my grandparent's house. I tried a few of the dream recall techniques that are discussed here, and finally went to sleep, waiting to see what happened. In the middle of the night, an alarm clock sitting on the table beside my bed woke me up (I am not exactly sure how), and i distincly remember it being a large radio/ ararmclock, with large, bright orange LED digits, reading 2:06 AM. I reached over and fumbles with it some untill I found an Off button on the the top of it. Once the annoyance had been delt with, I rolled over and went back to sleep. The next morning when I woke up, I was a little dissapointed about not having any dreams. Then, I looked over at the bedside table to see what time the clock said, the one that I had turned off in the middle of the night. It wasnt there... nor had it ever been. From that point on, I have been so excited about actually obtaining lucidity in a dream.
The night after that, I remember that I had a dream, and that there was a strange woman in it, but I could not remember anything else from it upon awakening.
Last night, I dreamed that an unknown female companion and I were staying in a camper, preparing for a large paintball woodsball game, and while walking down the field, it melded into an empty shopping mall.
I cant wait to get to bed tonight!
