Well, I finally decided to start a dream journal on here. I just moved this weekend and my dream recall in my new place seems to be better than before. Yay! Tuesday Night -- I had a dream about someone that I work with. I don't really remember much about it, but that I was making out with him. (Not sure why.) It was weird to look at him yesterday when I came in to work. It is still weird to look at him. He is cute, but not really my type...plus...he is married. Wednesday/Last Night -- I had a dream that I was a model. I was dressed in this totally ugly 80's outfit. On my way to my photo shoot, I had to stop by Sarah's house. (I used to be friends with her son Shawn...until he turned into a drunken idiot.) So, for some reason, she wanted me to go into the attic. I went up there and under a mattress was Shawn. We got into this HUGE argument about him being such a jerk and why I haven't talked to him for a couple of years. He said that no matter what happened I should have stood by his side and been his friend. I then tried to tell him that I didn't want to have that lifestyle...that I couldn't party all night and get fired from my job and end up in jail. We screamed at each other for awhile and I just broke down crying. So, I had to leave to go to the photo shoot and I got there and I was just a mess. It was hot outside, so I was dripping with sweat and had make-up smeared all over my face from crying. I was so upset, but the photographer said it was okay and that we would work with it. Then...I woke up. Weird.

Well, no more dreams. I cannot seem to recall the last few nights. I have been very preoccupied. I have also noticed that now that I am sleeping in my room, I have not been able to recall. (Previously, when I first moved into my new place, I slept on the couch every night. Now that I have my bed set up and my room almost finished, I have been sleeping in there.) I think I might do an experiment. Some night this week I will sleep on the couch again and see if I have better recall.

Okay, I still slept on my bed last night and I remembered part of a dream. It is really sketchy though. I remember walking around with this ogre-type-person. He was an older male and I was trying to get him down out of a tree. Once I got him down, we had to go look for (something, someone, I have no idea). I remember opening this little door in a bright alley...and that is all I remember until right before I woke up. I was back at my (a) house with the ogre and I looked out the upstairs windows and there were cats sleeping in the neighbor's gutters. There was also a goat that had two babies. It was really nasty (yes, I saw the goat give birth in my dream...TWICE). That is all I remember. (Maybe it is for the better.)

Well, last night I had a lucid dream...for like three seconds. The only thing I remember is walking down a street saying to myself that I was dreaming. So I jumped up to the top of the building.......and woke up. Grrrrrr.

Well, my dream recall has been down lately...but, I have also been very busy again. I have been having very sexual dreams lately. I won't write about them here (they can stay in my head). They are ones that I don't think I could ever forget.

Last night I had this crazy dream about Red. I actually just saw him on New Year's. I was in this dumpy hall (or something) with these two stages and folding chairs to watch Red's band. (FYI-he has no musical talent what-so-ever and not sure why he was in a band in my dream, but anyway.....) After the band moved to play on the second stage I went upstair to hang out with everyone. I didn't get charged because I knew him, but they were charging people $9.50 to get upstairs. The upstairs was like the upstairs of a house. I remember relaxing on a couch all cuddled up with Red...nothing too sexual or anything though. Then for some reason I needed to take a shower. The shower was in the corner of the living room. (Again... ) So, everything else in this "house" was really nice, but the shower was just nasty! To top the whole weirdness off, while I was taking a shower, this gay guy that I work with was staring at me the whole time! I woke up as soon as I got out of the shower.

Last night I had a weird dream about moving. (Probably because I just did and am still unpacking stuff.) I was in this house with someone .... and I remember standing by a door. It was really bright outside (most of my dreams are dull, dark or hazy). I remembered more this morning, but didn’t have time to right it down. I was running late for work. Grrrrrr. I need to unpack a notebook to put by my bed! I remember that there was something sexual that happened, but not sure what. (I know that because I remember thinking about OpheliaBlue and all of her sexual dreams. I am starting to think that all of my dreams are related to sex as well.)

Well, last night, the only things I remember is being in a grocery store (HUGE dream sign) and looking to buy fish. I also remember being at a cabin...that I have been to before (in my dreams). That's it.

Well lets see. Last night there was ANOTHER grocery store. I also remember being at a large arena for a dance or something. I just remember standing in line and going to a tent for a drink right when I got inside. The last dream that I remember is CRAZY! I was in this ugly house, that had this ugly paneling on all the walls. Someone was showing me how to operate this radar that was for this huge human spider type of person/thing/insect. This thing was black and looked just like a HUGE spider, but had a human head and two human arms (along with the eight spider legs). It had the ability to leave his body somewhere and be invisible somewhere else. That is what the radar was for...so you would know where he really was at all times. Apparently he/it was dangerous. I remember loosing track of him for a second, but he was just in the other room (as I was playing with the radar device thingy). Anyway, WIERD!!!!

Okay, from last night I remember a couple of different dreams. The first one, I was living in the apartment with my friend Amanda. The apartment was kind of like the one I live in now, but a little different. Anyway, the only thing I really remember was sitting on the floor of our living room. I think we were all watching a movie. Amanda had her boyfriend (not real one) over and I was with this guy Morgan, that I haven't seen since highschool! I was cuddling up with him on the floor and...it was just weird! I haven't even thought about him since highschool. The other dream that I remember took place at a library. I was there with a HUGE group of people (some were from here at work and some were friends from where I moved from). We were all drinking...yes alcohol...at a library. I looked through several different books, but I only remember the pictures in a childrens dream book. It was very colorful. I also remember helping some little boy that was crying in the entry way. I don't remember what was wrong though. Hmmmmm.

Last night I had a dream that Amanda and I were staying at this hotel for a party or something. We checked into the "party suite" and put our stuff in a room. (The suite was like a really nice condo with four bedrooms and the rest of the place was shared...i.e. the two or three bathrooms, the kitchen, game/pool room, patio, living room, etc.) We put our stuff in one of the rooms (it was light baby blue and very bright in there), but we put our stuff under the beds. So, we went to check out the rest of the place and when we came back to our room, another two girls were in there. They did not realize that we had already claimed that room. They then told us about another room that we would enjoy more that was down the hall...so we went to check it out. ALL the other rooms were taken...and there were A LOT of people there...like at least 30. We called the front desk and told them that they booked too many people in the suite and the guy just said, "Why do you think it was so cheap?" So, we went back and told the other girls that we wanted the room back. They were okay with it. The next thing I remember is the morning when it was time to check out. We went and paid for the room, then went back up to get our stuff. (For some reason...Jenna (Sterling) and Martha (Sentinel) were in the kitchen.) We grabbed our stuff and I couldn't find Amanda anywhere. I decided to just take the stuff out to the car. There was a big market area outside and we parked somewhere in the middle of it...so I couldn't find the car. I found another lady who was walking her dog in the same predicament. We eventually found it. I was separating all of mine and Amanda's stuff so the trunk wasn't such a mess and the last thing I remember is finding different parts of Amanda's lingerie in my trunk. Weird.

I dreamt that I was in this mall. It was kind of like the one in La Crosse, but a lot bigger and it had more than one floor. Anyway, the entire time I was looking for shoes. (I think this is because I can never find shoes in my size...I have big feet.) At first I was walking around barefoot and someone yelled at me. I couldn't find anything to wear so I wrapped them in tissue paper. I finally found these hideous shoes at this store. They looked like bride's maid's shoes. They were hot pink and silky. The shoes both said they were a size 12, but when I went outside the store to put them on...one was like a size eighteen and the other was like a size eight! I took them back to the store to complain...and that's when I woke up.

The first dream that I remember was some guy being held hostage in my basement. He was sitting in this wooden chair all tied up. I think I was helping him. When I went upstairs, there was this girl sitting on the floor playing a video game on one of those huge old television sets. Strange. I remember my gramma telling me that I couldn't wear red because of the war...that was going on in a wooded area near us. They were shooting everyone that wore red. Last dream I remember was during this huge snow storm. I went to Wal-Mart and brought my cats (Nelly and Dante) in with me. I was having such a hard time with Dante. I wanted to take them back out to the car so I could finish shopping. I left Dante with the check out girl and took Nelly out first. Then, when I came back in I noticed that half of the store wasn't even finished. There was construction everywhere. I remember thinking that I was glad the cats didn't get into that.

I remember bits and pieces of last night's dreams. The first one I remember, I was having sex with this guy (unknown) and we were in his room. It was really dark and I remember freaking out because his mom came home. In another dream I was at the grocery store (again) looking for green jell-o. Not sure why. (There was another, but I forgot it already...didn't have time to write them down this morning.)

The night before last I don't remember anything about my dream, but I do remember that I was smoking...which is weird...because I quit a couple weeks ago. Last night I only remember a little bit, I was standing at the top of a stairway getting ready to leave a friend's house. My friend was trying to set me up with this guy that was there. He was tall and blonde. (He kind of reminds me of this guy I went to junior high with...Andy Schliefer.) Anyway, he was really hot and I remember giving him a hug before I left. Then, as I was walking down the street after leaving the house, I looked at my phone. The numbers were all messed up...so I did a double look...and just decided that my phone was a piece of crap. I CANNOT BELIEVE that I did not go lucid! Grrrrr.

Last night I dreamt that Amanda was dating this guy I work with...Tish. They both lived in this house that I rented (which is in a lot of my dreams). Most of the dream was just normal everyday stuff, but at the end, I got really mad at them because I got a letter from my landlord that I was being evicted because my two roommates were wanted felons! Dirty rotten snots!

....dreamt that I had some sort of leg surgery...... I also dreamt that I was trying to get on a plane to fly some where (obviously), but I couldn't because I didn't have the correct documentation. They wanted some form from my mother that proved my birth. I said that she had it mailed there and they said they never received it. It was one big confusing mess. ....also remember seeing bits and pieces of the DV website. It was just the background, no words or anything. (Maybe I have been on here a bit too much lately. )

?Lucid? Last night I had a dream that Marcus and I were going to leave John's and find this other bar out in the country. We got in his car (which was an Oldsmobile Cutlass...like 1980...something that he would definately not drive). This is when I became kind of lucid. I knew I was dreaming, because of the car, but I had no control. So, we got in the car and had to bring with this drunk old guy. For some reason he wanted to go to this unknown bar too. Most of the dream was us driving down these dark country roads. I could barely see anything, but lights from the farm houses. I remember putting my hand on Marcus' knee. Nothing happened, though. This is all I remember...my cat woke me up.

Last night I had a dream about Jordan. We were in this schoolroom or something and he was saying all of these really hurtful things to me. He was saying that the only reason he dated me was to get back at Alyssa (that I went to high school with, that he doesn't even know). I was also fighting with Rod and Tony (some twins that I went to high school with). I remember parking at my house after school and it was the house in Melrose (on the outside and different on the inside). I don't really remember much else except that I woke up pretty upset.

Saturday night I dreamt that my aunt and uncle were my mom and dad. I had like five or six brothers and sisters too (but none were my cousins). We took this 15 passenger "church" van to this ranch. We were staying there for a vacation and the people that owned the ranch were showing us their daily routines and stuff. I remember them telling us stuff that was just common sense and I told them that I already knew this stuff because I used to live in Melrose. Nothing else too exciting. Last night I had a dream that I was going to a Halloween Gala. I picked out this gorgeous strappless wedding gown to wear as my costume. I had to take a flight out of town to get to wherever this Gala was, but first I had to go to the mall to find a little white something to wear overtop (to cover my arms and shoulders...not sure why). I went to every store in this GINORMOUS mall. I couldn't find anything. One lady gave me this hideous Hawaiian type shirt and I told her she was on crack. Another guy was just an ass and told me that they didn't sell clothes in my size (but really he was just busy...and it's not like I wear an odd size). I was frantically walking back and forth in this mall and I was so overwhelmed. I finally woke up and felt so much better knowing that I was just dreaming. (Of course, I went to the bathroom...fell back asleep...and started dreaming the same stupid thing...but didn't become lucid. Very frustrating!)

STRANGE!!!!! Last night I had a dream that Rich brought a bunch of gifts for some people at work. He put some CDs and lotions and stuff in some mini backpacks and gave them to a few people. Then later in the afternoon, him and I got into a HUGE fight with our copy editor (which we are actually good friends with). There was one ad that didn't run. She told us that it wasn't enough lines to run in the paper...minimum lineage is 4. But, I told her that the auto dealers closing was 3 lines itself, plus there was a 5 line logo...plus all the cars. She told us that we didn't understand. We were just fuming! (That was all I remember of my dream....but....this morning I got to work and told Rich about my dream of couse. He thought it was funny. Why would we fight with Lisa. So, the morning continues and oh...we completely forgot...our composite is in today's paper in the Auto Show section. So, we dig it out to look at it...and...it was NOT IN THE PAPER!!!! We were so mad. So we went right to composing and they thought we were on crack. Come to find out...Lisa...our friendly copy editor...didn't order the composite correctly. WEIRD! She has yet to come into work today, but I am sure it will be an interesting, long and stressful Friday. Ugh.)

I've been too busy to even try to remember my dreams, but I had a WEIRD ONE this weekend. ...I was staying at my aunt's house (but my room there was like my room at my grandma's house). I woke up late. Everyone else was downstairs. I went down there and it was really bright and sunny and nice out that day. My cousin Brandon's shower was downstairs in the breakfast nook area. They were getting ready to take it outside to clean it off. There was like four inches of sticky, nasty pee all the way around the wall of it. YUCK! So, after that I needed a different shower to shower in. My aunt took me through her bedroom, through another guest room and into a guest bathroom. (I always dream about this extra guest room and guest bathroom at my aunt's house. Everytime I walk through it, I say, "Wow, I always forget this room is here!") So, I go into this awesome bathroom. The shower takes up almost the whole room. It is a tile shower with like 50 heads. It is so relaxing! So, I'm in the shower and apparently my aunt and uncle are selling the house because all of a sudden people are walking through the room watching me take a shower. I was yelling at them to get out and it was a soccer mom with like 10 kids with her. They were all pointing at me. (At this point, I said to myself...AM I DREAMING??? I THEN DID A REALITY CHECK (finger through the palm)...AND IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!!! ) My uncle came into the room and made them leave, but the rest of the dream was normal. Grrrr. My reality checks have all been failing lately.
