The Idiocracy of Genius

Hello, I must be quite the imbecile, for I have known about lucid dreams and have been trying to get them since I have joined Dream Views, and I have not started a dream journal. These will be headed by a date, whether or not they were lucid, and if there was any signifigance in them, like "Found a Dreamsign?" At the end there may be some things I thought were important, such as an analysis, or the discovery of a dreamsign. Well, here it goes, entry number one from my DJ: 4/22/06 - Non-Lucid - Found Possible Dreamsign(s)? --- "I remember presents. I remember my room being arranged differently. Night, day, and time seemed to shift arbitrarily. My room was arranged loosely as follows: I find presents in my TV stand. The first present is one of the new slimmer PS2s. My first thought was to network it with my other PS2, because I have linux on my PS2, but I didn't, and I don't know how that would be possible now that I think about it. I turn on the power to my newer PS2 and the preview video for the game that came with my PS2, Happy Goat, runs. A goat is running around happily in a field full of lush green grass and life. I play for a bit, moving the goat around this field. Next present was the Happy Goat soundtrack. I just had to look at the back of the CD case, find the song I wanted to play, and all of the sudden the music would play. The music was very good, not something I would expect from a game called Happy Goat. When it would be night (Day and night shifted arbitrarily) I would be running around a christmas tree which would be in my room. Then I took an envelope off of the tree eventually. Inside was a coupon for SubWay. - Transition to another dream - I remember running/longboarding around some paths that are near where I live, and they were arranged differently. Outside at night, which I am not allowed to do. - Next part of dream - I was at my friend Nick's house, playing video games with him in his basement. His basement was arranged differently. His mom came in and said something. - Same transition as before - - Next part - I am in a large bed and my grandmother on my mother's side was talking to me. This room seemed pretty original. Could possibly be from a house they owned a long time a go that I visited as a todler. --- Dream signs? - Different arrangements of places I know. Arbitrary time shifts (Into the future a few moments, back in time) Day and night shifting. Being outside at night." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This concludes the first entry.

4/23/06 - Non-Lucid --- I was taking an activity bus home from school. It was quite crowded, and the horizons of my vision seemed to stretch into infiniti, with no end to the bus. I was discussing the bus route with a girl sitting in the seat next to me. Then I took a nap right there on the seat (the seat seemed to stretch to accomodate my large hieght of 6'4"). There this phase of the dream ended. I then had a dream about WILDing. The concept of WILDing was being told to me through what seemed to be a powerpoint. I then had a jolt and woke up. ---

4/26/06 - LUCID --- The dream started off with me in the reception area of a clinic. I was talking to the receptionist for a bit. I was still not lucid yet. I walked outside. I see me Rav-4 driving down the street towards where I am. It gets near me, I jump onto the hood of my car and take a pipe out of nowhere and smash the windshield. I then jump into the car through the smashed window and get into the driver's seat. The glass regenerates. Instead of pressing the pedals to move the car, I pedal them like a bike. !--- Suddenly I am lucid, and everything around me gets more and more clear and vivid. I "drive" my car to a park where I used to play as a child. The woodland is much prettier and lush than it used to be. I see a rabbit running across the path I am standing on. I force pull it into my hand. The rabbit bites me. There is little pain, mostly a sharp pressure where its teeth sunk into my skin. I let it go. I then will three beautiful wood nymphs to come out of the forest. The three come out of the forest. I try to do one of them. She resists, and shouts, "Don't you listen to your mother!?" I fail doing them, and then the scene shifts to me being in a large hallway at my chool, lined with lockers. Then this kid comes at me with a sand rake, which is used to clear the sand box used with the long and triple jump. He swings at me, but I grab the rake and punch him in the face. Then all of the sudden I am in the middle of a war with a bunch of kids I know. There are two sides, and I was on one of them, and I don't know what the war was a bout. The fighting didnt last long. My dream ended as someone on my side stabbed someone else on our same side in the neck. As the guy bled to death, he just stared at his stabber. Then I woke up. --- I believe that I started to lose lucidity after the attempted sexing. I believe I tried to control my dream too early on. I should have become more lucid before I tried.
