So I've finally decided to start recording my dreams . I haven't had a LD yet , but hopefully recording my dreams will help my dream recall . I prefer to record my dreams when i wake the next morning , cos i need all the sleep i can get and don't want to wake halfway through the night and not beable to sleep again . ATM my dream recall is hazy at best , though on occasions my dreams are quite clear , as was the case last night . 14/1/06-Saturday I'm pretty sure i had some dreams before this one , but as i didn't wake to record them i cant remember anything from them . However , i do remember small parts of my last dream . I was at some kind of aquarium/wavepool place . It was like a wave pool , but the pool was in a kind of maze with walls zigzagging around and there was one part of the pool where it formed a kind of '8' shape but on its side , like the infinity symbol . I was there with my brother , and there was other people there too but i cant remember any of their faces . Infact i cant even remember my brothers face , i just somehow knew it was him . So everynow and then , this wave would come travelling down the pool maze , and you could catch it and body surf , I tried to catch it but it just went straight past me . Then i was doing that for a while but cant remember the detail , then it switched to me in the '8' shaped part of the pool , and my bro was there . As i was waiding in this part of the pool i looked down and it was like an aquarium , there was algae and chorals and sand and shells . Then as i was looking in the pools i saw a lobster , it was hiding under a rock or something . It was quite large , maybe a foot long , light blue and had a nice shiny pattern of green on its exoskeleton . I tried touching it and it got scared and swam away . So of course i went after it , it only went like 1m away . There was also a little crab there too and he crawled up onto my hand when i reached into the water , and for some reason i decided to crush the poor little thing , and after i did that all that was left was a teeny little claw in my hand . Then i think i went and chased more lobsters , and i think one bit me but i didnt feel any pain . Thats all i remember . Wait , i remember one of the previous dreams i had . I was floating on some kind of ice berg or something in the sea , and i decided to jump , or maybe i was pushed ( i think someone else was on it). As I was swimming along , i saw in the distance a ship . Then it was right next to me , and someone reached for me and helped me into the ship . Looking back i think it was a submarine or maybe a destroyer ship , like from WW2 . Cant really remember any more than that now . There was so much more dialogue in these two dreams , and i met a few people , but the memories are so hazy i can barely grasp on to any memories of them . I think maybe the reason i cant remember my dreams is cos i go to bed quite late , at like 3am , and so my mid is too tired to be bothered with dreams . Maybe i can alter my sleep patterns so i get more sleep , i probably get about 3-4 hours unbroken sleep , then the rest im waking then going back to sleep , and thats when the dreams occur . EDIT : It occured to me that all my dreams last night involved water , and as it was so hot yesterday (and today) i drank way more water than i normally do . So maybe it had an effect on my dreams ; just a thought .

16/1/06-Monday Last night i had a dream . You see today i had to go to court for reasons i would rather not disclose , but the dream was about me getting ready for court . I was at my mums place , even though its 4hrs drive from the place i had to got but i was there anyway not at home which is closer to the courthouse . And i was just getting ready , like getting dressed and for some reason my grandmother was there too and she was wishing me luck , and some cousins too . And then i woke up and had to goto court IRL . So you could say it was on my mind and diresctly influenced my dream that night .

20/1/06- Saturday Okay its been a while since i can remember a dream , and last night the only dream i can remember was a rather sexual encounter . I wont go into any details , and rather say , i "selected" an appropriate female with curves in all the right places and proceeded to , well , have sex . Oh , i think it was in the cubicle of a toilet , but thats really all i can remember . And it really wasnt that good , i didn't feel any stimulation which i was a bit dissapointed by , but i guess a bit relieved too , cos wheres the fun in have sex without actually having sex right ?

6/1/06-monday Okay , so its been a while since ive had an actual dream but i had one last night . Its was one of those epic type settings , I was on an island , a massive island with rolling hills . The hills were sort of rocky like small football sized rock that were really smooth , and there were tufts of grass . And it looked like it had just rained . So i was wandering this island , im not sure what i was even looking for . I think something happened but i cant remember what . Then i switch to cruising along in a boat or jetski along the coast line of this island , and eventually i get to this little alcove and theres a town there . Then it switches to me painting someones door , and theres someone there watching me do it but im not sure who it is but they feel familiar . So im painting this door , and the first door i paint comes out okay , then i go on to another door or maybe its just the other side and paint that , its all white and its got like frosted glass in this big paine in the middle and for some reason i put a big stripe of black paint down the middle of the glass paine . Then thats all i remember .

12/2/06 - Sunday . Okay , last night i had a few dreams which i managed to recall a bit of , im not sure in which order they occured but here they are , i think the first one was definately first though . Shooting Star/meteor - I entered the dream at my old house where i used to live as a kid . Just remembering it from the dream the layout was pretty accurate , everything looked like it did in real life . So i remember being inside in the living room which is the room closest to the backyard . I went through the sliding glass door , and it was night outside . I looked up and saw many many stars , i couldn't identify any exact star patterns but it all looked good anyway . I walked out into the back yard , and looked up again , and as i looked up i saw a shooting star . I thought 'Oh , thats nice' , but then all of a sudden the shooting star got closer and closer , and like a warhead , it crash landed in my back yard , near the fence . It made a very loud crashing noise and dirt was thrown up in the air quite realistically . I was a bit shocked . Then , i looked up again and saw two more shooting stars , these also just happened to be heading straight for me , but this time they both landed on the neighbours house to the right , putting a football sized hold in their nice white tiled roof . My dad came running out saying 'what was that noise' , and i told him that there were some shooting stars but they were actually meteors which landed in the yard . He didnt believe me so i told him to follow me . We walked up the back of the yard and over to where the crater was from the first meteor object . I looked down , and saw amongst the debris , a shell or cover of dark green colour . On the inside i saw the letters 'NASA' , i could read it quite clearly in my dream , and a hexagonal symbol next to the words . And inside the cover or shell was a metal case , kind of like a safe . We took it inside the house , and into my little brothers room . My little bro and another kid were mucking around with the metal object , and then we god a call . I answered the phone , it was indeed someone claiming to be from NASA . They told me we shouldn't touch the object , that it had either a nuclear weapon or nuclear reactor in it . And i think he said they would send a crew to investigate . Then that dream ended . Photo shop - The dream fades in to me travelling on a train . I think it was in Sydney .we passed a few stops , and eventually I get off into a plaza in the city . I walk up the steps and when i get to the top i see a big neon red sighn that reads 'Photos' . I walk into the shop and remember that i had to pick some photos up (i had actually dropped a film off to be developed in a previous dream though i only just remembered it ) .The man at the counter was a young guy , spikey kind of hair . I ask him if i can pick up my photos , he tells me i need some ID . I search my pockets but i dont have my wallet on me . Strangely enough though , i decide to show him a pencil i had in one of my pockets , it had my name on it . And he actually accepted that as ID , hahah sucker i thought . And so he gave me my photos . But i cant remember what the photos had on them , thats about when the dream ended . Whaling - The next dream , i was suddenly on a quite large fishing or whaling ship . But at the time i didnt know it was a whaling ship , i thought it was a transport ship . As im exploring the main deck i run into some of the ships crew members , and as we are talking one of them points to a guy standing out on a platform that hangs over the water , he said he was the head fisherman . I start to focus on this guy on the platform , he loads a harpoon into the gun and takes aim . I see him let a shot go as we are rocking around on the sea , then i see a big spurt of water come from where he shot . Minutes later , a massive whale is hauled onto the deck of the ship , its being pulled up fro mthe sea with a big crane mounted on the ship , and is literally handing over us . They lower it down and as it hits the deck its massive mouth opens and all this water comes flowing out . We observe it for a while , its alive for quite some time but eventually dies . Then the dream switches to me and another person , not sure who , and we are now in a smaller boat ,like a tinny , and we are heading back to the docks , i can see them . We stop a few hundred metres from the dock , and i look down into the water and see all these baby squid and octypus . I have a net and pull some up from the water , i give one of the baby octypus to the other person , and i take one too , and eat it . I think it tasted pretty good from what i remember , i wasnt repulsed . Then we headed back to the docks and tied the boat up , i took our catch of seafood off with us . And thats it , thats all i remember . I have noticed though i have been remembering more details from dreams , and even after a few hours the details stay with me so i can record them . This was a quite interesting set of dreams for me , better than most nights where i hardly dream at all .

18/2/06 - Saturdy (woohoo) Okay , so i had like 1.5 dreams last night , and i dont remember much from them . The first one was a dream where myself and a few others including my brother , were absailing down a cliff . At first , as i first tried to desend the cliff , i employed a technique by holding the rope with my two hands out in front . As i was using this technique it wasnt working very well , and as a result i started slipping and fell down to the bottom . I wasnt hurt though which was good . Then , i was back up there again , but this time i remembered the correct technique to use when absailing IRL , with one hand behind your back holding the rope and the other infront feeding it and creating a sort of "lock" around your body . And so i started descending using this technique , and it started to work . I thought it was cool that my mind would only let the correct technique work . The second dream was related to my previous day , where a co-worker was talking about how his bank accound was hacked into and the money stolen , using net banking . I guess these thoughts transfered to my dream cos i have net banking too . I remember opening my net bank account on the net , and the screen came up with -$1850. And i was freaked out sort of . But thats all i remember from that . The only reason i remembered the absailing one was cos i saw an ad on TV with people absailing , and that caused me to remember the absailing one , and the the bank one .

27/2/06 - Monday . Well i stayed up real late last night , and slep till like 1pm today , and i think i had a few dreams in that time , but i only remember like one . I was in this shack on like a farm or property , and my mum and dad were there in this shack , and we were guests of these 2 other people my parents knew . They offered us foor and stuff , and i accepted . Then , they offered me some weird drugs , it must have been pot , becasue i took it and just started laughing uncontrolably . And thats about all i remember .

2/3/06 - Thursday Had a dream last night , i was at this stadium , and there was a few other people there too . I sat down on this bench on the side of the field , and this girl sat down beside me , and we started talking about something , i can't really remember what we talked about , but i felt like I knew this girl very well . Then for some reason it came to me , this was a girl i remembered from back in school , her name was Erin . So the after a while of sitting and chatting , she got up and started teasing and flirting with me , like she started running backwards smiling and laughing at me , and so naturally i started chasing here . She ran into some alley in the stadium , and i went in there too , but i could never catch her , she was too fast . Eventually i exited the alley , and found i was on the other side of the stadium , and she was there . And thats when i slowly woke up again .
