Okay, I know that if I want to lucid dream, I need to improve my dream recall, and to do that I need a Dream Log. Now, I already put this on another site, but I won't name it. Instead, I'll import my exact logs into this dream journal of mine. I'll also color code any specific events that happen in the dream to help me realize if I am dreaming or not in the future.

"I have been interesting in lucid dreaming, and I want to do it. Before I could lucidly dream, I owuld have to exercise my Dream Recall ability. In the following post, I will write down any dreams that I am able to recall last night.

I remember only having one dream. A short one, but a dream nonetheless. I was reading a Wikipedia entry on wavelengths, but I was holding out my left arm in front of me while doing it. It also showed two pictures on the top right corner of the screen. On the top, there was a green picture showing smooth wavelengths, and on the bottom, there was a red picture showing violent wavelengths.

So, it looks like I'm off to a start. I would have to learn more techniques in order to acheive lucidity, but it looks like I have a long way to go. From this point forward, I'll write down each and every dream that I can remember right here in my own blog, so I can remember them more easily. I have also heard that when someone has had a lucid dream, they were able to find and communicate with their spirit guide and/or subconcious. I'm very interested in what it's like, because I have yet to experience it, and would like to."

"I tried to lucid dream again, last night. Once again, I couldn't. BUT, I can remember another dream. It may have been two. I can't remember them in the order I got them, so I'll list what comes to mind first...

There was a small dream in which I saw a countdown. It was like looking at a computer screen, except it covered my entire range of vision. The background was navy blue, and there were 9 digits. At the beginning, it said, "Are you ready?", like a DDR announcer. As it reached 0, it said "Here we go!", and there was a bright light, and that was it.

Another dream I had was that I was playing a video game, about N64 graphics, and I was Fox McCloud. Again, the screen covered my entire range of vision. Note that it wasn't a First Person game, I was playing an over-view platformer. Anyways, I was walking about, when I found a hole in the ground. I jumped into it and the screen went black. Moments later, I found myself in another field still in over-view mode. Then, I saw a wild rabbit, and that's when I got into FPS mode. Then, I shot the rabbit, and collected it as food supplies. I don't know what it means, but I didn't really like the dream all that much...."

For this journal, I've also decided to color code dream signs in different colors. So far, specific actions will be red, and specific visuals will be blue.
