Hello and welcome to my dream journal. At the time of posting this I have not been able to reach lucidity to my knowledge, but I’m trying to build up my dream recollection to get to that point. If I ever do reach that point I will write all things lucid in blue text.

Indoor soccer
Not lucid

The setting for this dream was an indoor soccer complex that I used to play at as a kid. In the dream I am watching another team play soccer, except instead of continually having my perspective from the stands it will occasionally shift to an aerial perspective of the game.

Once the game is over there is a lot of new people walking around and I have magically appeared on the field in a goalie uniform. Off to my right is one of the local college hockey teams (my university doesn’t have a hockey team). An announcer starts saying thank-yous to a whole bunch of people and one of the thank-yous goes to the hockey team and they run out onto the field and everyone claps for them.

All of a sudden the announcer says “play ball” and there is magically a team facing me. The odd thing though was it was the team I used to play on in grade school, except they were all older. Also I didn’t have anyone on my team! So this team I used to play for starts attacking my goal and I make a miraculous save and boot the ball toward the other goal. I run back to my goal just in time to save the ball from going back in. at this point a second soccer ball hit me in the back of the head; I look down and realize it is purple and kind of small like a kid’s ball. At this point I also make the realization that the goal I'm defending isn’t a regulation soccer goal it’s actually a hockey goal. I throw the real ball back into play and side step to the left a little to see if my team would get it this time (I still don’t have a team so there is no way they could have got it). I look over and see a player (his name is Dominic) running up with the ball. I dive to try and stop him from scoring but the ball slips past the tips of my finger.

At this point I wake up.
