Since I'm here, I might as well keep a dream journal. n_n I don't get very many dreams, and the first real few I remember I don't have dates for, which is a bit upsetting, but at any rate...

The first half-dream I'm gonna record here is something that I think is more of a deja vu premonition. I get deja vu all the time; at least once a week. Originally, they scared the living hell out of me, but the situation has gotten to the point where I just stop a sec, think "Wait just a minute..." and go on like nothing's happened. However, a few months ago, I did have a particularly nasty one that matched up so perfectly with the instant I had the deja vu that I literally went to bed early because I was so scared I couldn't type or stop shaking.

This one wasn't that particular deja vu, but it's along the same lines: it's a vision not like a dream, that I eventually re-experience in the real world.

The subject of the "vision" was a blue and green dragon. I sorta remember it having a green body, blue scutes, and green-blue gradients on its wings. It had solid blue eyes (kinda like the Pernese dragons), and it was an 8"x8" square illustration. And the medium it was on portrayed it either as a full-blooded or temporary tattoo of sorts. It was actually a very intriguing experience.

The dragon was positioned in a largely vertical orientation. It's wings were spread out behind it, and its legs were partially extended. It's head was looking down towards something and its tail curled around in a not too gentle, but also not too tight curve.

Anyway, this vision occurred sometime last semester (fall 2006). I remember because I spent about five minutes in first-block U.S. Gov't class doodling up a stick-figure sketch of the dragon.

This isn't the first dream that I vividly remember. It's acutally my most recent one. This is an example of the kinds of dreams I have:

I was the main character. When the dream began, I was approaching what looked like a decrepit old factory. However, when I went inside, the building was devoid of machinery save for a huge power transformer in one corner and a bunch of HUGE and really old electric motors 20 or so feet waaay up on the second level. These electric motors were driving much bigger fans at low speeds. Also, these fans had some sort of pinkish goop that was covering some coil-like rods right over them, and immersed in this goop were torus-like objects that I couldn't identify. The lower level was mostly flat pavement, and on either long side of the factory building was a row of semi-disheveled store fronts. Many of them were abandoned. So it was like an early Edison-era shopping mall. O_o

Anyway, I looked over in the corner with the transformer, and I saw some martial arts school. The really old master dismissed the few students he had (I think there were only two) and I kinda walked up to him. He gave me a quick test to see if I was worth the trouble, and I was. During the test, I asked him what the goopy stuff over the motors was, and he said that it was from the "krispy kremes" that the original factory workers used to eat as lunch. They would put them over the motors to keep them warm. Of course, the question followed a motor burnout.

Up until then, I had had several tattoos. There was one on my left wrist and a massive dragon on my back. I also had a bandage of sorts on my right hand. The master made me take the bandage off and there was another tattoo on the back of my hand. He didn't really go nuts, but he was really enthusiastic and ranting about a "chosen warrior." I was like, "That? I got cornered by some bullies at school and they thought they could play beat up the chosen one, and I ended up with this because of that," or something to that nature.

Anyways, I learned that this particular master trained the "chosen warriors" that I had unceremoniously become a member of. Here's the bad part, though: the setting was Vichy France during WWII, so none of this master's pupils even made it out of the country alive without the Germans filling them up with lead. O.o

So, I learned the ways of the warrior from this guy, and that's basically where the dream cuts off at that point in time. Then, the dream picked up on me returning to this factory-mall of sorts, only to find it completely destroyed. I found the master had moved into another shop just a block or two away, and he said that the transformer outside his school had finally had enough and just kicked the bucket... quite violently, too.

Recording a pair of really old dreams here. I can't even put a finger on when they happened. All I have is a deviantART journal that I wrote up several days after these dreams.

In the first dream, I was going on a road trip with a very close friend at school who I have known since 2nd grade. We were driving a little black hatchback with an interior that resembled a Honda CR-V. Anyway, we came into a city and got lost, so we pulled up into a picnic area under a highway overpass (there was a park in the middle of a highway interchange). Once there, I proceeded to ask an asshole of a cop for directions. I got madder and madder and eventually left the picnic area with my friend and we found a little bistro. When we got there, noone wanted to give us directions. Then the dream cut off there and became a mountain scene. No, not forested mountains. I mean desolate, rocky, cliff mountains. There was a lone highway that cut through these mountains with massive, smooth, sheer cliffs that rose for hundreds of feet or more. It was absolutely amazing.

The second dream was like something out of Star Trek. I was the captain of the USS Enterprise, and we were exploring a planet when we saw this really unusual cloud. We flew through it unintentionally, turned back, and the cloud didn't have a single disturbance in it. The cloud was disk-shaped and had a little extension that curved out from the bottom of the cloud near the edge. The extension looked like a tube, so we flew right towards it. It got longer and longer, and bigger and bigger until eventually, we finally got to the end. The entry hole to the tube was MASSIVE. It dwarved the Enterprise. Being the curious captain that I was, I commanded that we enter and we did. We flew for what semed like a not very long hour until we got inside the disk. It was like the cloud transported us from an Earth-like planet to an oxygen-rich layer of a Jovian gas giant. The view was AMAZING!! The clouds extended from the floor and ceiling of the inside of the cloud as if the turbulence was phenomenal, but there was no wind to speak of. There was a solid wall of clouds behind us and our exit had disappeared. We were trapped, but instead of being afraid, I commanded that we march on at Warp7. We did, and we warped for I don't know how long until fog slowly crept up and obscured our view. Next thing I knew, we were flying out of what seemed like a cloud of space dust...into another galaxy!!! Earth was billions of lightyears behind us, and just ahead loomed another Earth-like planet that had another one of those wierd clouds.
