Hello. So this is the start of my dream journal. For now I am going to do my best to fill this in daily, time permitting. I will not be getting up to write down my dreams throughout the night as I enjoy my sleep to much. I will make an effort to go through any dreams in my head when I wake, and then put them down here when I get the time. Here's to some crazy dreams I hope....

20/06/07 Can only remember one dream now and it is very vague. Was in a car with friends driving along a road back in the town I grew up, "Hill Street" I think it was called. My friend Sam was driving and she somehow undertakes the car in front through a gap that clearly would not be possible in the real world. The rest of us in the car are very annoyed at this manoeuvre. We shout at her. See cries. This is all I can remember when now...

21/06/07 I went out last night and got very drunk and had little sleep. Tried to WILD but was a stupid idea. I don’t remember any dreams. I would have difficulty distinguishing them from what happened last night to be honest.

22/06/07 Not much effort made to remember my dreams last night, but remember this one. I am in the company of some guy I don’t recognise. I am shadowing him as he goes about his work. I am in his office but unfortunately have no recollection of what he does. We make our way out side and he shows me his collection of exotic cars that I think he is selling. Think I he saying that they are stolen and that the thief store them here until they are sold. I have the feeling that this guy is my dad, but does not look like him. Dream ends.

23/06/07 Borring dream about work.

24/06/07 Again I had a dream about work, because I have been working alot the last few days. However I also had an interesting dream. It was quite vivid this morning but I didn’t have time to write it down before work. But this is what I remember. I’m with one of my friends and we are going on a trip some where. Unusually our mode of transport is a lorry. My Friend sits up front with the driver and I go sit on the trailer thing that the lorry is pulling behind. The trailer I remember being really close to the ground and having no sides. So basically I’m clinging on to this plank on wheels as it is pulled along by the lorry. I Don’t remember being scarred though. Anyway, after driving along for a while, for some reason or another I decide I need a new pair of shoes. So we stop and I go into the nearest shop. It is a cloth store. As I walk in it appears to be empty. I remember thinking, "Great! I can just nick a pair" but also think that it is strange that the shop is empty. I remember this part of the dream very well, which I think may be because I was becoming lucid. (funny how an empty shop is more strange to me than my mode of transport at the time ) I call out "Anyone here!". A man pops out. I think, "crap I have to pay now". So I tell him I am looking for some shoes, and he asks what kind. For some reason I ask for shoes for the rain outside, but I don’t think it is raining in my dream. He directs me to these pair of shoes that look like walking boots and then shows me the same pair which have "been modified", to look like a camels! He tells me that they where made in a town I recognise as being in Scotland ( I live in Scotland btw) Dream ends, or at least my memory of the dream ends. Have a few days off work so will be making more of an effort with remembering my dreams and trying to become lucid.

25/06/07 Last night I had a great nights sleep. Slept for much longer than usual and am aware of having a few dreams. However I seem to be having a problem remembering more than one dream when I finally get up. But the one I remember last night was pretty cool. I cannot remember what happened in the first part of my dream but I feel it was quite a lengthy dream. I’m at a airport, due to get a flight some time soon. I am travelling with a group of friends but am alone at the moment. I notice a sign for an amusement park that is like some rip off of the Super Mario Brothers. I decide to go take a look, but just as I am approaching the entrance and can see the turnstiles ahead I realise that my flight is leaving soon and I must go. I run to the escalator to my left and run up them onto another flat set. I am still running and can feel myself going at great speed as the walk way moves with me. I notice one of my friends is just ahead, he is also running. I try to catch him. We come to a spiral staircases leading down. It looks like it is straight from a medieval castle, it spirals down anti-clockwise and has no rail on its inside. We start to descend, running still. After some time my vision starts to blur, the world around me becomes hazy. I realise I am awakening. I stop. I realise I am in a dream. My dream becomes clearer, it now feels stable and less likely to evaporate. I call to my friend ahead, “Watch this! “. I hover of the ground and float over the side of the stairs. Aware that there is no plane that I need to catch I decide what to do in my lucid state. I instinctively wish to go find an attractive girl but tell myself I should do something different for a change. My dream guide! Do I have one? I turn to the nearest person. I recognising her from school, I think it strange as I never liked or talked to this girl but she is in my dream. I ask, “Do I have a dream Guide?”. She answers “If you did you would need a phyciatrist.” . I ask her if see can say that again, she says the same thing. I am disappointed. There is a spider is on the wall, I fly out a window to safety. The spider swings out after me but I fly further out of its reach. The world I am in slows down. I awaken. So I hade my first lucid in my dream journal! Disappointed with what my DC said about my dream guide, but I will try again some other time. I think next time I would like to ask a DC if they could give me a “Clarity pill”, see what happens.
