I've decided to start a dream journal here on Dream Views. I see it as a way to motivate myself to start trying to record my dreams and all of that fun stuff so we'll see how it goes. I'll put my first entry in here sometime tomorrow if I remember my dreams tonight. Lucids will be in this color.

11-23-08 I didn't write down my dreams today but I can remember portions of this long continuous dream I had. Pirates I was at some giant factory over the ocean (but near a cost) that specialized in killing people. On paper they were some company that sold something (can't remember). Since they were above the ocean, they would dispose of the body parts into the water. Very strange. Everybody at the building was always dressed as a pirate. It was pretty funny to watch. In a giant cage (about the size of a boxing ring) they had Johnny Depp who was dressed as his character Jack Sparrow. He had a sword with him inside of the cage and there was some type of target/box at the other end of the cage. All the pirates were laughing at him and taunting. I felt kinda bad for him but I wasn't going to do anything because there were literally hundreds of pirates. The lead CEO of the company/super pirate arrived and went in the cage. He said something that really pissed Johnny Depp off and Johnny threw his sword at the guy. The CEO person dodged it somehow but the sword hit the bullseye of the target. The CEO guy acted all impressed but then he opened the box/target and there were about 30 swords right at the center and he said "Oh my god your so talented, I've only seen that 1..2..3..4..." and counted a few of the swords before the entire crowd of pirates burst out laughing. One of the swords had a white bird that was impaled on it. Looked somewhat like a dove. I thought he had hit it out of mid-air and I actually was impressed. After everyone laughed at Johnny Depp he looked very sad. That's about all I can remember from that portion. The Monitor At the pirate company place, I worked on a computer system that kept track of stuff which I am failing to remember. This was actually my own personal computer and somehow I realized that someone had switched a big ugly white CRT with my Westinghouse 19" wide screen. I was furious. I was trying to find that person forever but somehow my monitor re-appeared later in the dream after the Johnny Depp experience. My dreams are usually not this interesting but I've been sick the past few days so my dreams have been really strange.

Last night I didn't get enough sleep and woke up during deep sleep. I didn't remember any of my dreams except one where I was at a track meet or some kind of competition like that. Should be able to sleep in tomorrow morning so maybe I'll have a fun lucid.

Some pretty good recall on the 23rd for not having written the dreams down. You're right, being sick does bring on some of the craziest dreams. Johnny Depp in a cage at the killing factory... yep, sounds like a sick dream heto me, hehe. Good luck on getting lucid tomorrow morning!
