Allright, so I learned about lucid dreaming yesterday and spent an upwards of several hours reading about it. When it came time to sleep, I convinced myself I would wake up in the morning and remember everything I dreamed about (poorly planned, I know). Well it turns out through sheer willpower I remember more dreams from last night then I had ever in my life. Just had to try, I guess?
Dream 1: I'm getting into a car and leaving my house. I'm on my way to something and I'm apprehensive and pissed about it. I'm talking to the driver about why half the roads in my town are made of water (wtf they aren't...) and how it used to be a major shipping port (we're 3000 miles from open ocean). I point out that the town would be much more efficient if main street was made of water, but the local bureaucracy kept such from happening. We arrived at where ever I was going (turns out to be a gym) I knock and ask a fat guy if I'm early and I wake up.
Dream 2: I'm sitting in my room. I hear a noise at my door and food is shoved through a hole at the bottom. My room is filth and nothing is familiar. I learn I'm in a juvenile home and for some reason its my house and my parents are nowhere in sight. Night falls and I decide that an escape is my only option for survival, so I tie my dreadlocks back with a bandanna, tie my bedsheets together, and make my escape out the window.
Dream 3: Everything is black and white like in old movies and it feels kind of like the 1920s. I'm on an island. It is cold and theres snow on the ground, its night, but I cant see the stars because snow is falling. I'm in a town and everyone is worried because its so cold. Everyone gets up to leave and the only way off the island is by boat. My view pans out to show all the villagers and my self walking down a snowy pathway and pans out further and theres a wolf watching us. We arrive at the dock and the wolf jumps out in front of us. The northern lights are above us and glowing blue and red and green (the only colors in this dream), and the wolf seems to be reflecting these colors. For some reason I'm a wolf too and we fight as the villagers escape to the boat. I defeat the wolf (actually a demon) but I'm mortally wounded and watch the ship sail away into the night.
