here's my first dream journal entry. didn't really make much sense, to me at least, but i did try to jot down as much as i could remember when i woke this morning.

this was during the night of 06/16/07.

An Afternoon at Kendo
It was the afternoon, and the sun was bright and out. I was practicing kendo during kendo practice with the rest of the kenshi. The practice at that time consisted of a routine shuffling up and down the brown, wooden gym floor. there was roughly about thirty kenshi in the class. during the practice i kept looking at my feet because i wasnt to sure if i was shuffling correctly. the sensei was at the head of the class, facing us, guiding the entire class through the exercise. i was attempting to match my footing with that of the sensei's. my step was right foot in front, left in back.

however, the rest of the class seemed to have the opposite footing, left foot in front, right in back. for some reason it was difficult for me to switch my footing to match the rest of the kenshi. i was getting frustrated.

I glanced around the classroom. both my brothers were in the same class as me. some guy near the back of the class asked the sensei if his sister could participate in the practice. all of a sudden a little asian girl who looked to be about 3 y/o, shoulder length black hair ran to the front with some other kids who looked about her age. i didn't notice them there earlier. they weren't participating in the class, rather they were checking grades up front. i was thinking it was cute that the were all huddled together up front. there was a glass double door right beside them. it was sunny outside, with the afternoon sunlight beaming in. the Three people then walked from a door behind the classroom. It was a girl, a taller girl and a guy. They seemed to be related to each other (brothers and sisters). i seemed to have recognized them from highschool. the girl standing in front pf the other two looked slight heavy set. She looked like Melissa (kuai le?) from highschool? They were just standing there, observing the class. i turned to look at them, noticed that i recognized them, and immediately turned away to the head of th class (as i normally would do. i was thinking to myself, "why am i being shy again?" i kept telling myself that it would be polite to say to greet them and say hi.

right as i was about to, they left. then i woke up.
