      Talking

      ~Night of September 16, 2007~

      The Setting:

I attempted to WILD, but after about 20 minutes or so couldn't stay awake. I was camping so it's not unexpected that I wouldn't be able to stay concious due to all the physical activities and just how long the day was for me. However within those 20 minutes I repeatedly told myself that "My mind will stay concious, but my body will fall asleep." To be sure that this message was heavily imbedded into my mind, as well as to be sure I stayed awake, I repeated the message with different wording over and over; thinking of new ways to tell myself to lucid dream.

      The Dream:

I know there was more to the dream then what I remembered, not quite sure how I know, but I'm fairly posative. Anyway, the first thing I remember is being in my hometown, in some sort of vehicle. At this point the dream was rather vague and I don't remember a whole lot so I wasn't able to remember what kind of vehicle it was, where it was going, or why I was in it. Despite the vagueness of the situation, the company I was with was very vivid. It was a very good friend of mine. I don't quite remember any conversation she carried out with me, but the end decision was to have sex. We went to a motel that doesn't exist in my town. It was very low budget and the man at the desk wasn't very nice. He gave us a "special room" because of a dispute I can't quite remember. This oh so special room that we were given was very small and very suspicious. No TV, no fridge, no desk, just a bed and two lamps on either side.

Now, the interesting part. As we became intimate and were both completely naked, which I don't remember initiating either, the dream became much much more vivid. It was not by any means a lucid dream, but the physical feeling was very real, just like I experienced in lucid dreams. I could feel her skin press against mine and was amazed at how real it felt. The visuals and auditory experience, however, reflected a normal dream with little vividness. What's also interesting about this was as I was trying to WILD I felt a lot of the physical feelings described by WILD tutorials, but had a hard time finding any visuals and there was a great deal of noise from nearby highways and other campers. I thought it was interesting that the experience in the dream somewhat matched the experience I had as I was attempting WILD.

Anyway, the dream made it's ending when the room we were in was haunted, for lack of a better word. There were odd unexplainable things happening one after the other, which I thought might have been my mind trying to let me know I was dreaming since I did tell myself that I will see many dream signs as I was attempting WILD. Either way the dream ended and I had not reached lucidity. Hell, I didn't even get to have sex.... T_T

      ~Mid-Day Octobor 4, 2007~

      The Setting:

So I was a little bit tired and thought that a nap would be the perfect opportunity to try some lucid dreaming. I got into my bed, which is new and very comfy and began drifting off to sleep, but consciously... What was interesting about this WILD attempt was that much like Clarity had described to me in her WILD experiences I had no HI. I believe it might have something to do with the fact that I had absolutely no expectation of HI. I lied down with the idea that I was going to do DILD, but for some reason or another, stayed conscious. I also felt the very weird shift that she was talking about. I believe this shift was slightly off however because I was very much aware of my physical body and was not completely absorbed in the dream.

      The Dream:

Woot. So like, this is my first WILD right? I'm not going to lie, I WAS STOKED!!!!!!!!! It was hard to stay calm and focused, but due to the fact that I wasn't completely in the dream I found it less hard to stay in the dream. When the dream first started I was on the ground of a redwood bed in a familiar backyard; it was my friends backyard. I rolled around on the ground a few times for good measure and looked up to see if it brought me in the dream. It significantly helped me so I got up and looked around. This lucid dream was very odd, it didn't have the same Clarity (pun intended ) as my other lucid dreams. It was dim in visuals like a normal dream, as well as lacking in auditory and physical elements. I credit this to being both dreaming and half in the real world, but I couldn't manage to get all the way in the dream. Perhaps there was noise that was keeping me there, I don't remember. What I do remember is coming in contact with my VERY FIRST DC in a lucid dream.....EVER. It was terribly exciting despite the lack of Clarity (Damn I'm good... hehe). It was a petite girl dressed as a super hero if I remember correctly. She was with a man in a lab coat and they were huddled on the ground looking at something. I ran up to them and starred her in the face with determination that she would listen to me. She imeadiatly looked up at me and I asked her a question. Now writing about it sort of brings back the question, which makes me happy. It was a question that heavily relates to the dream goal I set for myself after reading a post on the forums about lengthening your dreams. The question was, "So, how does it feel to be a Dream Character?" I was so shocked I could talk, because not only was this the first time I had ever seen or talked to a DC in a lucid, but this is the first time I've ever talked in a lucid period! CRAAAAAZZYYYYY! Anyway, I don't remember what she said, but it wasn't too satisfying so I thought to myself, "Let's have some fun, shall we?" As soon as I thought that she imeadiately came on to me. Luckily right before I tried to even WILD I was on the forums and somebody asked about dream sex and was advised to stay away from it at first because it was intense and exciting which could cut the lucid time down. So taking that into account and the fact that I already almost shat my pants with excitement I grabbed her with my weak arm like Arnold Swarzleifnwl and tossed her to my right. Looked up at an opening in the trees and thought about my past flying experiences. You see, I used to fly all the time in dreams, but one of my problems was the fact that since I was in a normal dream I had no extra motivation to believing I could actually fly and whenever I tried I would slowly hover back down to the ground after a certain point. Then I thought about the TV show Heros. I don't know if anyone watches that, but there is a man in the show that flys at incredable speeds. I thought to myself, "Heh, I can do that." BLAM! SOARING LIKE A FREAKIN' ROCKET! Don't know what happen to the girl, I think she fell off somewhere along the way. That's what I get for flying without Clarity though (3 times! YES!). Anyway, the rest of the dream I just spent flying around. Still sort of aggravated that it was mixed with reality. Oh well... Still fun as hell.

      ~Morning December 13, 2007~

      The Dream:

Well, I was with my friend Cassidy, whom I always talk with about lucid dreaming and we were talking about what we wanted to do in the lucid dream. I suggested flying and somehow the idea was accepted and I took a running start right before I leaped into the air to fly. Cassidy, apperentley not being able to fly very well in lucid dreams jumped for my arm, grabbed it, and instantly became weightless. We were flying around for a while looking at the coast line of a very fantasy type jungle when we decided to do something else. I thought to myself, "I've never been swimming in a lucid dream..." So I suggested the idea and Cassidy agreed. We dove into the water and at first tried to breathe with no success. Instead we just didn't need air.

We explored for a while and had fun, but realized it was time to do something else. So we began exploring the jungle. We came to a small "fairy ring" group of trees where half the ring was composed of the half of a huge rotten tree stump, much like the ones I have many childhood memories with. We were sitting there talking when all of a sudden a man came jumping in with unatural gravitational resistance. He stole something form us and quickly ran away. We pursued him for a long time before we came to a small open field with a hobbit hole door on a hill near us. There were a bunch of men surrounding this mischevious theif and trying to corner him into subbmission. I somehow noticed that he was drawing his power from a sword he had sheathed at his side. So I quickly concentrated as a Jedi would do in Star Wars and *WHIP* the sword flew to my hand and the thief became powerless. He gave up and that was the end to my very happy dream.

      ~Morning January 17, 2008~

      The Setting:

I had stayed up very late at night the night before and slept for a good portion of the day so when I went to sleep at my normal time I wasn't very tired. I woke up at about 5 in the morning feeling rather chipper, but since that was far too early for me to get up I decided to try to go back to sleep telling myself that recognizing dream signs would come easily. And so the dreams began...

      The Dreams:

I had a series of about 4-5 lucid dreams with some normal dreams mixed in. It was very strange. At first I would become lucid for only a few minutes before waking up, but I would quickly recognize the fact that I had woken up and wouldn't open my eyes. Every time I woke up I would go back to sleep and be right back into the dream. Then, finally, I woke up only to find myself feeling very groggy for some reason. I pryed open my eyes and saw a girl with medium length black hair sitting at my desk. She said something to me, but being in the stuper I was in, it was difficult to understand what she was saying. Then it clicked. "What the fuck is this girl doing in my room sitting at my desk? That makes no sense; she doesn't live here. By golly, I'm in a dream!" To confirm that I was indeed in a dream I plugged my nose and tried to breathe. Sure enough, I could breathe like a marathon runner. I didn't need gills or airways; no problem. So just to double check myself before I went jumping out the window or something I decided to float above my bed. Again, as clear as day, I was definitely floating above my bed. In the excitement, I had forgotten about the girl at my desk and flew my way through my house. One strange thing I noticed was that it was difficult to see. It was as though it was extremely dark outside and none of the lights were on in the house. I ignored it and although other things also lacked clarity I carried on flying around feeling very content.

I don't remember which dream it was in, but at some point right before I woke up I found myself in my mother's room sitting on her bed with her while my little brother sat on the other side of her. We were all just talking and none of us could stop smiling. It felt good. To appreciate my family again and feel as though they appreciated me. It helped me. But then I woke up...

      ~Morning January 25, 2008~

      The Setting:

Nothing special. I had told myself to recognize dream signs as I went to bed. That tactic seems to work especially well.

      The Dream:

I was in the creek next to my house, which is about 20-25 feet below the road running parallel to it, when I realized that my mother was in a fight with Timothy Olyphant, an actor who usually plays villain type characters, and he was about to cut her finger off with some scissors. Me, knowing this character really well, got his attention and played the perfect counter. I distracted him long enough for the neighbor to come out and talk to my mom about what was happening. As my mother walked to the neighbor to talk to her, Timothy turned to see who it was. In that instant I leaped half way up the hill of boulders that keep the ground my road is on at bay. Right as Timothy turned his head back to where I once was, I leaped at him with such force that whatever had happened after that resulted in my victory.

From there the dream takes a sort of break. I blame my poor dream recall, but in any event I ended up going through a portal to another world. It just so happened that I had landed in a tavern or bar of some sort. The walls were all a dismal grey/blue and had a lighter white/grey trim on everything. All the characters in the bar/tavern had Hollow masks on (A hollow is a beast from the anime Bleach) which I believe struck my curiosity about whether or not I was dreaming. There was one character in particular, whom was almost directly in front of me when I was ported, who looked at me as though he had something I needed. Suddenly, using some sort of remote dream control I managed to activate his mask which took it and his head right off him and threw it to a wall causing it to merge into the wall and enlargen to create yet another portal. Using the same remote control ability I activated the portal. The only thing I know about the remote control ability is that I had to use it twice in both events; much like a double click.

Anyway, I went into the portal and ended up in a room only lit by the lights of Paris streets below; at this point I was lucid and I had no idea how that had come about. It was night time and their were three characters in the room. All being women, one was sitting on a chair, another lying on the bed and a young girl, probably about 12 plopped onto the floor looking blissful and playful. I knew that this was not my proper destination and looked towards the window. I walked closer to it and just before I was about to jump out and fly away, the young girl said to me, "Look at my shirt." and gave me a smile. I decided to entertain the idea and sat down in front of her. I looked at the shirt and at first glance it seemed as though it was just a blue tye dye shirt with a hatch like grey pattern tye dyed on top. However, as I turned to look back at the window the shirt's movement caught my eye. I looked back at the shirt and it seemed as though the blue tye dye and roughly formed the image of a bedroom in the background. The little girl looked at me and said, "Go ahead, look in." As I got closer to her shirt to try and peer in the grey hatch pattern stretched out and move away from my head forming a hole leading to the bedroom. I put my head in and looked around. I withdrew my head and said to the girl, "That's amazing!" The other girls laughed and that's when I realized the dream was getting a little dim. So I began looking at my hands. The weird thing is when I did I almost felt like I was tripping on some sort of psycedelic. Like mushrooms, even though I've never had shrooms. To help create clarity in the dream I grabbed the little girls hand and felt it. Sure enough it was one of the most real hands I've ever felt.

      ~Morning June 11, 2008~

      The Setting:
Sick and sweating, but for the most part sleeping fairly well.

      The Dream:
What I remember from the dream is being in a household that was filled with Hispanics who had adopted African American culture. At the time it seemed totally normal, but in retrospect it was rather odd. My family had apparently been doing business with them for some time and they were extremely nice. The first person from the family I met was one of the brothers. Then, shortly afterward, I met one of the daughters. The daughter I met was very beautiful and had a very colorful personality. After roaming around some giant African statues in this almost Aztec-like area and hearing about their culture she had decided to go back to her house and invited me to come along. She was an artist and drew African American cartoon like figures. Her style and choice of colors were brilliant and the best part is that she was very fond of me. However, there was another guy whom was very fond of her. He had come over and was being rather clingy to my new friend. The brother I previously met was, luckily, also fond of me so when the girl and this dufus went into her room, not only was I invited by the girl to follow, but the brother saw to it that he too was invited to come along. hehe

Simultaneously, or at least I think it happened simultaneously, there was a ritual going on at those Aztec-like ruins. One that involved a leader using a ghost or spirit type creature that was split down the middle and missing a half to summon a demon-like creature to do something. I can't really remember... That's when it gets blurry...

      ~Morning January 24, 2009~

      The Dream:

I was on a kayak tour going down a river. Everyone on the tour was a familar face. We had very speedy kayaks and were racing down this little water track that had been set up. After falling into the water a few times everyone got cold and we decided to get on land. Little did I know, they had land kayaks. They were awesome. They had wheels and you wiggled your butt when sitting in them to get it going. We bombed a few hills and crashed a few times. It was pretty fun.

      ~Morning Jan 16 2010~

The Setting: I told myself that there was no way I wasn't going to remember my dream tonight. For the last few days I've been going to sleep thinking, "You will lucid dream. You will wake up feeling refreshed and alert."

      The Dream:

What I remember was me standing on the deck of my mother's house putting little humans, I think, into planting pots filled with plant material for the "soil". After that was done, I made people laugh by imitating a crow and flying around flapping and squawking.

Any comments, suggestions, or just about anything you would like to reply would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
