Hilary Duff, The Smiths, this is a great dream...

In dream world, Hilary Duff is my girlfriend. Now i do have a crush on her, so i guess thats the reason for her being a regular in my dreams. One night i had the greatest dream...the two of us were at a club, "How Soon is Now" by the Smiths is playing in the background as we stare at eachother. This dream was super quick, i can remember it was in colour, and a dark pink tint. In every dream with her, i can never actually get to talk or really interact with her. Last night i joined in a group hug with her, then before i could say goodbye she ran off looking sad, and i woke up. i just want to know how i can control and realize that i am dreaming and take control. would thinking about it before sleep help?
