So, I may have had my first Lucid Dream this morning/afternoon. ( I sleep on a fun schedule, hush. ) Notes that follow are exact out of my notebook.

22MAR08
( SAT Morning/Afternoon )
Duration: Medium/Long. Went on more than a few minutes, it felt like
I remember the flying most vividly- large, long staircases almost straight down, that I merely ran to the edge of and jumped. I occassionally had to slow my descent using my "wings" ( werent visible, but I knew I had wings. ) (Flying felt similar to helicopter landing, actually. )
Entered a roon with three (?) other individuals- one was a little girl, one was a normal sized guy, the other was a large bouncer sized guy.
The little girl was my target, I needed to get her away from the guys. I remember seeing a snowball and fireball thrown at me, and mimicking the actions and returning fire. They hurt where they hit, and flying around the room made me a difficult target. I got in at least two good hits on the big guy, normal guy was flying around a bit too.
Details are fuzzy from the rest of the fighting.
I dont know if it was before or after the flying, I think before- Furious fighting in a hallway, running from something or another. Got kicked into a wall by something that reminded me of a very large bird, and attempted to be trampled.
Couple points- Flying/Running- I was moving fast, it seemed. Either the others couldnt match speed or couldnt pursue. I didnt think I was going that fast, but thats all relative too- I could have been moving so fast that I was barely visible, or sputtering around thinking I was fast. Again, relative. I wanted to move, for now I assume it was top speed.
Ha, combat played like Oblivion. ( Spellsize, movement. ) Similarities dont explain the other people, though. Used Oblivion as a lens to see the spells/etc. through to make it 'visible?' Possibly.
Got the feeling that the normal guy was a caster of some sort, or strived to be one. The large one may have been a shapeshifter, he tried to grapple and crush me repeatedly without really succeeding; twice tops.
The little girl is the enigma of all this, I dont know if I was trying to save her from them, or if she was the boss of it all. Possibly a ruse to disarm me that I didnt bite? I really dont remember enough.
AAR:
Flying- Easy. You know the feelings and have done it enough.
Speed- I remember wanting to move, but I wasnt pushing for max. Attempt top speed flying and ground.
Dogfight- Did the guy want to fight in the air? I dont remember.
Fighting- I know I threw a snowball and then a fireball, couple hit targets. No idea how effective or how much they hurt.
Conversation- There was one, but it wasnt audible or out loud. Telepathic? No idea, really.
Next question- Was it Lucid?
I dont know, not knowing what to expect. I was fully in control, it was not like watching a movie- I was there, I was thinking, I was acting. Which made the flying sequence awesome.
N.Q.- Who Were the other individuals?
Werent all that threatening, so I guess they were my own. I had no fear of them, and I cant remember a reason I would fight them or want to. Second thought, I think they instigated the fight and I returned fire.
Who, and why, remain though.
Op1- Was trying to save the little girl. But, how did I enter her dream?
Op2- All three were simply dream characters of mine.
Op3- All three entered my dream.
Big guy and magic guy were working together. Little girl is unknown.

4 Pages of text. Most of it I remembered, some bits I had forgotten ( the magic guy flying? ) and after two hours of driving, a bit more thinking on all of it.
I dont know how much more aware I could get, really. I know I was thinking of what to do next, which to me makes it a lucid dream- any other dream, its simply watching a movie and seeing what happens next.
So, my first lucid dream. Yay.
Still have a few questions unanswered- I dont know who the people were. If it was simply a lucid dream, then they came from my mind and I fought them. But targets from my mind would have been engaging, I *wanted* a better fight than I was having. If I could have forced it, I would have. Thats one strong point for the my characters/others arguement.
Next question is, was it *my* dream that I fought in? That leads to how would I have dreamwalked, not knowing how.
Regardless, I had a lot of fun with it. Looking forward to either the characters coming back or others coming to visit again.
