Elder Dream::

I didn't dream last night but I am going to talk about an "Elder" Dream, a dream that I had only a few nights ago.

Date: April 20th, 2008

I "awake" in my bedroom (though it was similar to the one in my parents house) and that is normally how I start off in any dream. I first get myself ready for an adventure by either "dressing" myself in an outfit that is laid out for me or just head out on the adventure. I open the door and next thing I know I was lying on some rocks and next to me was a small pool of water. At first I was slightly confused because I looked around I saw nothing but rocks and desert. It was gray and very deathly in feel. I felt slightly concerned and upset as I noticed a dead mermaid next to me. She looked dead for a long time and I got up. At first I had trouble but I noticed I was a mermaid as well. I had legs but I just started to grow them. I learned I am a mermaid whose ocean was destroyed. The backing story is that the Queen of Atlantis became upset with my race (the mer folk) and destroyed the oceans that surrounded the island. What is left is a small tunnel of watter were a crystal that keeps Atlantis alive is below. I am the protector and the last of my kind. The Queen of Atlantis's son has left to visit the Human world and by living caused a riff in Atlantis that made the Queen to go mad and caused a deadly virus to put the Altanian world to sleep including the King. The Prince at the time was meant to travel to the Human world to gather information about missing artifacts from their world. Not realizing the door was stillthey were. No one resisted us then, it seemed the effect of the virus was strong in the castle. I started getting weak without water and the prince began to get upset about it. I really actually felt weak, which is common for me in a dream to feel what the character feels. Finally we found salt water and I used it to absorb so I can get strong.

Then we found the queen with the princess by her side. The Prince name I found out was Darian. The queen was angered and cruel looking and the princess seemed bewildered and tired. The girl that was with us was actually killed off by one of the guards. She kind of vanished within the time frame and I saw her body lying dead. The prince was upset but in his eyes he thank god it was not me. Boy was he handsome. So a battle raged on using elemental power and magic that I had and eventually after what seemed forever the queen lay dormant. She was not dead but we finally were able to close the rift and restore order.

To make a long story short the oceans return and life began to come back. Color started to be exposed and everything was bright again. I went back into the ocean to find my friends, family and pretty much everything back again. And the prince, the queen, the princess and the king of Atlantis restore to order. I knew I had a few hours to kill and we basically had a party and at the end while I was in Darian's arms, I awoke.
