JJM121\'s Dream Journal. Night Of: 5/29/06 "Cheese-What?" (Dream #1): It is raining and i show up at school at night for some sort of event. Obviously this was an event that has not happened, concocted entirely by my imagination. A friend of mine named Tyler was there. The teacher in charge of the event told me that i was to help with the food. I went over to Tyler who was already at the food area. I noticed these strange, weird looking round things with cheese on them. I said to him, "what is that?" and he replies "It's pizza. What are you retarded or something?" End of that one... Cant remember anymore of it. "Bart, Joint, and Blind Dog" (Dream #2): This one is pretty interesting. I believe it occured in the time span of 30 minutes, since my clock is set to go off at 5:40. I slept again until 6:10. In this dream, I made up an episode of the simpsons. Which is strange, but not freaky. In the dream Bart SImpson is at some sort of monastary, or magical school. This one is very little detail. The monk is taking Bart under his wing or something. Next thing i remember, Bart is explaining to someone about his dog being blind. I remember exactly what he said. "My name is Bart SImpson sir, and my dog is blind." Then i found myself watching as bart i believe was trying to prove that the dog was blind. We were in an animated version of the upstairs hallway of my house. It seemed alot darker and mustier. Bart picked up a rock about the size of a fist. It was also *a giant joint.* (haha).Then he threw it over to the dog who was by the staircase. The dog did not notice that the rock/joint had landed near him. Marijuana * To see, smell or use marijuana in your dream, suggests that you are experiencing an expanded sense of awareness and consciousness.[/b] "Rascal Flatts Writes Books?!?" (Dreams #3 & #4): Dream #3: I was in a dusty, old, dusty, room. Like, REAL DUSTY. the room was old and the floorboards could be lifted with enough strength. I saw a book in the room. I walked up to it, and it was a book by a writen by the name of "Rascal Flatts". I picked up this book, dusted it off, and looked at the pages. I believe that the books were from a 'dream childhood'. meaning that a childhood created by my dream. I found it compelling. Dream #4: Picking up where the other dream left off, i had the first rascal flatts book, and was determined to find them all. I started collecting them from the old room, and possibly other mysterious places. I kept the books in a box-like container. Sort of like a boxset made of metal/wood or something. I collected most of them. But, towards the end of the dream, i decided to return them to the places they came from, because i felt that i didnt wnt to disturb the spirits of something or other. Or maybe it was i felt that they shouldnt be kept by one person. I think it was the second option. anyway. I just remembered those now because i saw books in a dream dictionary. Its fascinating the way people can dig up memories long forgotten isnt it?[img][/img]

Hey JJM121... nice to meet a fellow cartoon dreamer. Yes, that is quite the first dream journal entry. Very interesting indeed, cartoons, magic, monks, blind dogs and drugs...good stuff. Think I'll keep an eye on this journal. Looks like some interesting things could develop here. Keep catching those dreams of yours.

Night of 5/30: No Recall. I do remember waking up and feeling frustrated. Thats about it. =( hahaha. maybe next time. I also forgot to set my alarm.

Night Of 5/31 "Flying Submarines and the like."(Dream #5): I am a soldier. I dont know if its navy, army, or marines. I dont know who we were fighting. I think that it was the japanese. This would all be appropriate because i just finished studying WWII in History class. (I love WWII. It is my favorite.) The dream is basically one long combat sequence in which i fly planes, fire my rifle at ground troops, and (most interestingly) fly boats? I talk to some of my friends while in the fight (Not real life friends. All Dream Characters. I am one of the best soldiers there of course. Basically, its a dream about fighting, reminicing about my alternate soldier life's past, and flying boats with missiles to hit the enemies flying boats. edit: 6:13 am. Unfortunatly i was unable to go back to sleep. Im getting ready for school now. Edit 3:48 pm. I am able to remember where some of this may have came from. the place we were fighting on resembled a map from halo 2 (a video game): I was planning on playing yesterday, but didnt. Fighting the japanese: Learning about WWII in history. Up-to-date weaponry: a presentation on weaponry in english. Intellectual conversations w/ dream characters: Intellectual conversation w/ a friend.

Night of 6/1/06 I tried using that lucid mp3 trick thing from the board. It made me feel mork awake than anything else. I couldnt use it. Not to mention i woke up at 3 like it said to do. What a waste of a night Maybe i shouldnt be trying to get lucid yet. I should've worked on my recall instead. damn mp3.

Hey... Just stalking through. I tried that lucid mp3 too and it did the same to me. I kept messing with the volume for about two weeks, trying to find the right level, but it just wasn't working for me. Patience with the lucidity. I'd say yes, work on your dream recall. Steady your sleep pattern. Same time to bed every night and same wake up every day. If possible. Reality checking and finding dreamsigns also help alot. All good things require work. Well, for most of us anyway. Just stick to it. "You can do eeeeeet!" quote Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider from each others movies

Night Of 6/3/06 Vivid dreams last night. "Alyssa," (Dream #6): I was in a place that reminds mo of Spain. A part which my mom described to me yesterday, when she went on a family vacation there when she was young. It was a great place, very calming. I was there w/ my closest friends and family. We were having a celebration. Not sure why. Then the next day when in town, i discovered a dance was coming up, and i had to find a date. I knew who i wanted to take. Alyssa. Of course that night i went to her house and asker her. She told me, "im sorry josh, i would like to, but i cant." Then the night of the dance i saw her riding on the back of a bike w/ some guy who was taking her to the dance. I felt pissed off. (Now, the whole dance thing. I actually asked this girl to a dance last year, and she said yes. However, i didnt know that she had a boyfriend. He was ok with her going with someone else as a friend, as long as nothing happened. Now, this is where i come in. I asked her and she said yes. Then, a few days later she told me she couldn't go with me because her Boyfriend, knew that something was going on between us. Then later on after they broke up, i got really close to her. Then, i somehow blew it. I dont know. I'm gonna try to see her more. I think this was a dream to tell me that i need to go after her.) "How many Talents do you Have?!" (Dream #7): I started out in this little town called Whisteriville. Alot of accidents happen in this town. A radio announcer said that "your chance of dying in an accident here is 1.33". I started up an acting guild thing w/ my friends and brothers, and we travelled to this place, where we performed for two people DRESSED UP TO BE the king and queen. I was really good too. (Of course, its the same in real life =P) Then after that we werent sure if the play was meant to continue the next day, because we didnt exactly finish. We went to the auditorium to see. (Which is odd, because we performed it in an entirely different place. It was an open field in front of a giant castle, which reminds me of dulock from the movie shrek.) Anyways. In the auditorium they were practicing a small part of a dance from "Guys & Dolls". A play that i was in recently. After that i met this random girl who was a mexican trying to hide her identity, who was sent by some random powerful company to undermine me. The rest doesnt make as much sense. Then i go back to the town. Its night, and im walking through the streets and i hear the familiar voice of one of my friends, and a girl w/ him. I try to indirectly get his attention. They didnt hear me, i never saw them. I walked into a boarding house/hotel place. There were loads of rooms and the walls were painted red and yellow. There was also a long wood carving peice at the base of the walls. The people i walked past knew that i was an actor, becuase (Since the part that i had being trying to get My friends attention) i had been wearing a barbershop quartet looking gettup. They seemed mad that i had a career and talent. They tried to grab me. I started to run. More and more people noticed me and chased me. One man said "How many talents do you have!?!" Angrily of course. Then i think a couple of them finally grabed me, and then i woke up.

Night of 6/4/06 i got 30 minutes sleep. Its interesting. I feel a natural high. Plus, this morning, i felt like i didnt gain consciousness till after having a shower. When i was walking back to my room, and i sort of woke up? hahah.

im having a hard time with recall right now. i'm really busy with projects and tests and finals coming up. i'll be back in a few days or so.

its been awhile since i've posted any dreams. Night of 6/10/06 "Fuck 82%" (Dream #8 ) Kinda short, i got an 82 on a project in real life recently. I worked really hard on it too. I dreamt that the teaher decided to give me more points than i initially got. "She hot. You know nothing." (Dream #9) I was at some random place, it looked like a hotel hallway in a lobby. I was helping some kids learn their forms and things like that. (I am a first degree blackbelt in taekwondo.) There are other instructors in the hallway with their own groups too. Ms simon (an instructor) is there too. The kids are saying that she is only decent looking. Then, an older, wise japanese instructor comes out of nowhere and says "she hot. you know nothing." Then i gave him a low five. hahah. "Are you really going to break this?" (Dream #10) I arrived at my karate school to help out with a tournament. When i got there i noticed that the matted floor had been replaced by dirt. It changed back and forth throughout the dream. My instructor told me to start the people off who were going to break boards. I went through the stack of the students boards, and came upon some small books about 10 X 8in. I said to the girl who they belonged to, "Are you really going to break this?" she responded "yep." "ok then." Then my instructor had the class do warm up stretches. I didnt know what to do then. I couldnt really get the board people's attention after the warm up. Then everyone went into mukiyuhm (meditation sitting-style). I wasnt sure what to do. I went and sat in the front of the room w/ another kid who was helping out.[/b]

Night of 6/11/06 "Playing Online" (Dream #11) This dream i was involved in this big battle game that was going on the whole time. Several people that i know were involved. Thats about it. It was a little wierd. There was a very small story/plot, not much though. "Holy Shit! Totalitarian Governments!" (Dream #12) In this dream i am in a futuristic world. It seems to be a common trend lately. Basically i am on the run from the gvt. I am holed up in a skyscraper w/ again, several people that i know. Alyssa is there again. =P. Basically it was about dealing with common problems in the future.

ah, the old girls working again. my computer's power connector blew last week. =) hahah. Night of 6/14/06 "...WHAT the Fuck. Thats all." (Dream #13) In this dream i have a genie. the one from aladin. hahah. Yeah so me and the genie are like best friends. My little brother wants him so i tell him no. Then, someone comes down the stairs on both sides of the room, and the genie has to hide. It was some sort of hero that i made up. The next thing i knew, Timone from the lion king and some other character were plotting to get the lamp. We were on seperate sides of a canal, that had wires hanging out over it. There are several people that i know on my side. My little brother joins the otherside, and some other kid. They take it somehow, and we chase them across the canal. Someone i do know named John said "We have to get it back or the teacher wont give us a grade" Which doesnt make ANY sense. (Then again, i did loose a textbook and have to pay a fine, or i dont get my grades back, etc.) We get it back. We all cheer and go back across the canal to the church. Its kind of like in the movies where the good guys are all like "YEAH! YEAH!" hahah. My ex was there too, out of nowhere. She was on my side apparently. I didnt say anything to her. We just kind of looked at each other.

Night Of 6/16/06 "Visiting the Grandparents" (Dream #14) I was going to go visit my grandparents, who i am actually visiting in france this summer with my good friend blake. I show up at the door of their house which actually appears to look like a boat when we go through the door. Dont ask. Then we go on a road trip to wherever. We see all kinds of strange creatures, and we also (well, i see) indians. They dont see them because they are always looking away when it happens. "Drivin' the Boat" (Dream #15) On vacation with the family, i drive the boat. "I wrote all this stuff down" (Dream #16) False awakening. I 'wrote' this stuff down.

I've seen some weird stuff so far. I accidentally did an unintentional WILD. Well, not really a WILD. more of a WID. no lucidity involved. Night of 6/17 "Disney? W/ the family." (Dream #17) So i was at this distorted looking hotel with my family. We decide to go down to the place where they sell disney stuff. My dad tells me i cant get anything. My little brother is getting something really small and insignificant, but is annoying me about it. We come back another day, and they have something new in stock. Something really dumb. My little brother gets one. (My little brother is really spoiled so this dream doesnt surprise me.) "freaked the shit out of me." (Dream #18 ) So basically i was dreaming about whatever. I woke up at about 3 am, feeling dehydrated. Went downstairs for a glass of water. Came back up. Anyways, i have a freaky heart thing going on, i feel better now. Maybe the whole thing was a dream anyway. BUT. I was lying in bed for about 30 minutes trying to get back to sleep, and I continued to lay in bed. Put on my ipod (music helps me sleep). Then i went under the covers near the front of the bed. I guess this was the part in which i had entered the dream, because i had a song playing by drowning pool or something, and thats not something to listen to at 3 am. I was under the covers, and a bug was with me. Nothing big. One of those small, annoying, little bugs that fly around indoors. I kill it. I start having abstract thoughts about how i prefer to kill bugs. Then i see a reflection in the window of the door being opened. Which is funny, because now that i look my blinds are shut. =P. Anyway. I see the door being opened in the window, and my mom says, "Josh." I freak out because the door just opened at whatever time it was. I started to experience what felt like a panic attack. (I sometimes get those for no reason. Not often at all though.) I reach out my arm and becon my mom to come help me frantically. She just stands there and watches. At this point, i woke up feeling really stupid that i had dreamt the whole thing, because i honestly believed i was still awake in my room. =P. I do feel more relaxed now though. "God Help You If..." (Dream #19) This dream is way interesting. It was induced because i had fallen asleep on my left arm. In the dream i could feel it too. Its amazing. I was going to back to school at some place i have never been. I saw a friend of mine, john telling everyone about the holy things he did in the summer, his mom was there. John is one of the unholiest people i know. So its kinda funny. Anyway. Im getting bored of writing this, so i'll make it shorter. I made friends w/ the guy who controls the lift-thing behind the stage of the theater, all the teachers liked me. I went to an end of the year party. Now, in the dream for several days that had passed, i had this hot feeling in my arm, and i could see the blood inside. My dad tells me that it'll go away on its own. (Funny, because my dad always tells me im fine. even when im not.) Then after the party my dad takes me home, then says i'll take you out to eat, then we'll go somewhere else or something. I tell him that my arm is still weird. He says, its fine. He looks at it again. Then he says. "Get in the car." "why?" "Get in." We start drving really fast and making turns along unexistant sharp curves in the road. "Whats going on dad?!" "Why didnt you tell me this was happening??" "I did. you said it would go away on its own." "God help you if you have arti-pung." a lot of strangeness in one night.

"Yea." (Dream #20) In this dream i was basically just 2nd basin' it with a girl i know the whole time. It was a good dream. . "Since the beggining of the cosmos!" (Dream #21) I think it was like a kingdom hearts dream, or something. I dont know. I started in this place where there was virtually nothing. Just the ground i was standing on. Then the kingdom was in danger. I had to go out onto these black things with a purple aura, and kill these round things before they picked up these candies or something. There was a counter on the top of the screen too. =P like, showing how many they had to go. Apparently i was the son of zeus too. Hades was there too. Goddamn mythology. hahah.

Night Of 6/21/06 "USMC, Lacrosse,etc." (Dream #22) Writing down some key points so i can come back later. -USMC -Lacrosse -Jamie Foxx -"Give me your rifle" - Hot Cousins that im not related to. - Travel. -Trains -Lasers, and guns.

Wow. Talk about morbid. I was too tired to wake up again though. ONly one dream. Night Of 6/22/06 "I dont even know where to begin with this one." (Dream #23) I think i was part of some sort of tactical weapons division. We had to break into this asylum and find out what was going on inside. When we got inside there were dead people occassionally talking. People locked up in cells. Then me and the gang broke into an empty room and began to plan an operation.
