Dreams of a Film Director

Hi everyone! It's been a really freaking long time since i've been to Dreamviews. I can't even express how much i missed it. I had been in Brazil for like two months (i got family down there). Anyways, my dreams have been very messy lately and I'm just now deciding to clean them up again. You know, get a Lucid dream in, or maybe i can just master lucid dreaming. Yes, that will be my task. So this is my dream journal and it's really gonna suck until i get a hold of dreaming again. We'll see how it turns out. These first ones are old so i'll just put them in to start myself off!

25/11/07 "The Infected" Well for what I remember was that it was nighttime and I was at an extremely packed parking lot where an infection had started to spread. This virus caused aggression and anger towards people, like 28 days later. There was a huge cage that was filled with infected people, which was surrounded by military personnel. I any light had touched them they would disintegrate slowly. I walked closer to the cage, but before I could get to close, the infected human slammed his body against the cage in an attempt to escape. This had frightened me and I ran to my car. A girl was sitting in the car next to me and she told me she had to check up on her mom and dad before we found our own place to stay. I assumed that she was my girlfriend and I did as she said. As I was leaving the parking lot, I saw an infected person crawl out of the cage and jump in the car in front of me. The driver got scared and drove wildly into the middle of traffic. An oncoming vehicle hit them and the impact killed everyone in the car, including the infected person. We waited for nighttime to end before we went to my girlfriend’s mother’s house. When we got there, I saw that it was a two or three story building that was very run down and the door was wide open. It was dark inside so I figured I should be extra careful because there could be infected in there. I went inside and I brought some spare bulbs that were in the back of my car in case the lights were burnt out. My friend was also with me just in case we needed some extra help. We tried to flip the switch on but indeed the lights were all burned out. My friend and I went around placing the new bulbs in with no problems while my girlfriend went to check on her mother. The new bulbs were put in and light filled the muggy old apartment. We shut and bolted the front door to make sure that nobody could get in. Then we sat and talked for a while about what we should do and how we should live our lives until the infection dies out. I had brought plenty of food and supplies to live of for at least a week, but this definitely wasn’t enough. We decided not to find our own place, but to stay with her mother and keep her safe. It started to get light outside and we knew it was same to go outside. Later my father and mother knocked on the door and we let them in. We knew they weren’t infected because they managed to get here in the daytime. By now many of the army troops had moved through the other buildings surrounding us which made me feel much better. Later it grew dark and I had opened all the windows shutters so the moonlight could shine through. We could never turn off the lights or else we were vulnerable to the attacks of the infected, well at least we never turned off the downstairs one. I couldn’t sleep there was something wrong. I went downstairs and I saw my girlfriend’s mother standing by a light. She looked at me and smiled; she then slowly disintegrated. I was shocked, but I knew she was doing this to save us from her. The next morning, I told my girlfriend about what happened and she ran upstairs crying. I ran after her and tried to comfort her by telling her that she died happily, knowing we would be safe from the infection. She finally stopped crying and she hugged me and thanked me for all I had done. I was very thankful that she said this to me. We had to make a run for supplies because we started to run low on food. It started to get dark, and we rushed back to the apartment scared for our lives. We made it home just in time and when we got back, my parents and my girlfriend were talking about me. I sort just forgot about that and went up to the kitchen to put the supplies away. There was a knock at the door and for some reason I answered the door without seeing who it was. As I opened, I saw that it was an infected man that was holding a small gun and pointing it at me. I said, “Hey, you don’t want to kill me. If anything you would want me to keep you away from the military, right?” I had backed into my house as he followed me angrily. My friend shut the door behind him and I turned the light on. He started to burn from the light and he screamed and went outside. I locked the door and went up to my dads room and said, “Did you bring your shotgun with you?” He nodded and gave me it. It was an old wooden one, from like the 1800’s. I could tell because the shot was lead and he loaded it with black powder. I ran downstairs with the gun and shot the infected man in the head. I can’t say much about a happy ending because it ended about here.

9/12/07 The X-Men Training It all started with me reading up on some anime. I saw in a small part of the book it revealed a secret technique that would let you summon a ball of pure energy. I was extremely excited as I went to get the materials. It required a certain metal object that sort of looked like a small hook. Here was the technique: • Put the hook in your left hand if you’re right handed and vice versa. • Now get in a horse stance and pretend that you will push all of your energy into the hook by moving your right hand towards the hook. • You will then notice that it will actually start to become hard to move your hand towards the hook and this is where you must struggle to push on. • If you keep going forward, the hook will start to become superheated, but don’t worry! This will not burn you. • After the entire hook is red from heat, recoil your right hand and point the hook in the direction you want to shoot the ball. (This is as said in the book) I did exactly as the directions said and finally, the hook started to super heat! I was astonished by this impossible feat. I then shot the ball into an alley and watched it soar through the air. I was then interrupted by a group of people that were trying to attack me. I tried to use the energy ball, but it was to slow, so I just ran. I then said, “Make a cloud of smoke there.” As I pointed behind me, a cloud formed to give me cover, but it wasn’t enough. I kept doing that until I just said, “This time when I make the cloud make me appear with it.” So I pointed about one hundred feet in front of me and it did exactly as I said. I then saw an airplane taking off and I quickly said, “Appear…THERE!” And sure enough, I was in the plane. I startled many people as I appeared out of thin air right in front of them. A man then said, “Come, sit with me. We must talk some things over.” I walked over, not afraid as I took the seat next to him. He then said, “I noticed that you also have powers. We could use someone like you.” Then everything went blank. {SCENE CHANGE} It was nighttime and I was in a single file line facing the man I saw on the airplane. He then said, “Alright, you will all have to fight today. And if you die, you die with honor.” Or something along those lines. My master, specter, showed me his powers and how to do them myself. He lifted his hands up and down, like in tai chi, and then the water in a puddle below him began to lift off the ground. “The enemy is here!” someone yelled and everyone ran into battle. Specter was leading the charge as I was to his right. The last image I can remember was that I punched some guy REALLY hard and killed him.

The Game Non-Lucid Dream 29/12/07 All right, this was a very short dream, but it didn’t skip around that much so that’s a good start for me. The dream started off with me in some unfamiliar building with my bro and some friends. We got a call from my other friend Scott, who had said for us to go to this address and meet him and a ton of people as well. So we hopped in some old style car and started driving to the location. “Is this it guys?” I said to my bro. He nodded and we started to drive in to the parking lot. I had seen three people from school that I really didn’t like playing hacky sack out front so I said, “Lets try to avoid those people, go to the back parking lot.” So as we pulled in to the back, we had seen at least 20 people that were all from different nations of the world. I walked up to a man who was representing Africa in the game and he had brought a hell of a lot of soda for some reason. I picked up a strange can of soda and said, “What is this soda here?” He replied, “Oh, that is called M.I.C. It is my favorite.” I smiled at him and gestured if I could take one. He said I could and I started to drink the one I picked up when all of a sudden, my friend Nick walked up to me and said, “Those are pretty good huh?” I haven’t seen him in waking life for quite some time now and I was actually quite surprised. “Hell yah man! That’s like the best soda I’ve ever had. So, are you going to be in the game?” He shook his head. We heard an announcement saying that we should all report to our teams. I said bye to him and went off. This game was pretty much like the matrix. You become someone that you want to be and you look exactly like him in the game. You were paired with three people that had to have the same theme as you. I was Neo and I was paired with Trinity and Morpheus. The setting was a very broken down city filled with deadly…things. What we had to do was to get a bomb to the objective point in a certain amount of time, sort of like assault in Halo. I remember this being the only skip. My team was in a house, and oh yeah we start out with AR5’s, so we saw the team of Police, which was my bro, Scott, and some other dude. I started shooting at them through a fence all of them were hit and killed. The bomb was then given to us. We saw everybody just standing there. We then realized that we only had ten seconds left before the bomb exploded in our hands. So Trinity and me flew over there with the bomb. Everyone chanted, “Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two…” Trinity was there; it was a gas station, so on the last second I threw the bomb over to her as I fell to the ground. We did it…the explosion killed everyone, including us. I then said, “Alright, we got it…we won…you all died from the explosion so we win the game.” As we started to celebrate, my parents woke me up. The ending was really weird, I know. I thought I would have woken up from the explosion.

29/04/08 French Class For this dream, i tried Malac's new technique on how you introduce lucid dreaming into all of your thoughts. It was only the first day, and i didn't do it very well so i didn't expect a lot. I was at my high school (this is not a very vivid dream BTW). I was in my french class and i was watching a movie of some sort. One of the Girls who i will just code-name C, had started to ask me something. The one line I remember that i said was, "What, are you trying to be all gangster now?" Random, i know...i REALLY know. Anyways, she responded something along the lines of "hell yah". I was sitting in my chair some really weird way. I had a pillow and i was resting my head on it as i drifted of into...well...dream sleep?? Actually, i just woke up after i went to sleep in my dream.

11/05/08 Dragon Girl We were exploring a dungeon sort of setting. Most of it was like some sort of puzzle game. I was climbing on some wires the first time i saw her. She was wearing the same mask that Haku was wearing in Naruto, and she had long black hair. She was in a silk dress and was very friendly. I spoke to her, but she said nothing. As i kept talking to her, she sort of burst out of the mask into a giant snake like creature. I pulled out a sword and tried to fight it off, but she was to strong for me. Sadly this is all i can remember.

12/05/08 Another Avatar Dream I barely had any sleep last night. Sadly, i can't remember a lot of this dream, but i can first off tell you that it involved me being the avatar from Avatar the last airbender. I never really call myself the avatar in any of the avatar dreams that i've had. I usually call myself the god of elements. Anyways, the dream involved me and a couple other gods trying to kill some sort of creature. I remember that nobody but me had the power to take the creature down, so i pretty much supercharged a air blast. This was really cool, i had never done it before in my life. It was pretty much the same concept as snapping a finger, the air pressure was so much that it broke the sound barrier. Killed that bitch.

27/07/08 The Rebellion There is not much i can remember about this dream. I can say that i was with a small group of people who came from the future, back to this period of time. We struggled to get there because while leaving the future, there was a great rebellion which i led to fight off the corrupt government. You see, the government had been planning this for more then 20 years, so we went ten years back to recruit more people. I had brought along my war robot, which could fold up to be easier to carry. We couldn't be to noticeable, so i got a face remote control for the robot so it looked more like a toy. This was now ordinary, lifeless robot. It had a mind of its own, he could talk, walk, and act like a human. The only thing that made him different was that he was made of metal, and he had missiles and machine guns on both hands! Anyways, there was one mission that i remember. We were to raid an army base with just my robot and a couple other followers. We weren't scared at all, because we were highly trained to fight. So i pulled out the remote control, and folded the robot in my hands, this way he looked lifeless and i just looked like a wannabe engineer. So we got a tour of the base, and at last we were at the captains quarters. We saw him sitting in a chair, and he greeted us happily. We should hands, then i dropped the robot to the ground, and he instantly unfolded. He put both machine guns to his head and started congratulating us. We smiled and took the captains head. And how we got out, i don't know. Next i remember i was sitting in an El Camino in my driveway, except the houses around mine were not the same. I remember there was a couple in a car next to mine. They were arguing and the women came over to my car. She was beautiful. She asked if it was okay to come in my car, so i said, "Of course!" She asked what i was doing sitting out in my car so late, so i explained to her the whole rebellion thing, and how it was all my responsibility. The funny thing is, she didn't even think i was crazy, she wanted to join us. She explained that she hated her boyfriend and this would be a much better life. Then as we looked into the night sky, i woke up. God, how i wish i could have kept dreaming.
