Fire in the Night
Lucidity:very low
Vividness: good to very low to good
I am talking to my school counsler Mrs. Tucker about drugs. I asked her what drugs she did when she was a kid. As she’s talking I notice a round window behind her is moving in an irregular fashion like the backgrounds in the movie waking life. It then occurs to me that that could not possibly happen and I must be dreaming, I do a reality check and bingo. As I did the reality check I stopped paying attention to my surroundings and when I once again shifted my mind to it I was in a void. Thinking my dream was ending I quickly went about my first order of lucid dreaming business, summoning fire. I held out my hand and a torrent of flame issued forth. I then began noticing my body laying in bed and a little while later I was fully aware of being in bed. I knew I was still dreaming though, I waited a little bit, opend my eyes and just jumped from my bed through my window. My window acted as a portal and I found myself in an intangible univers, everything was blurry and non-concrete and nothing was solid. I saw a something, my words want to say a clown but I know it was not, but for the sake of the story the closest description is a clown. I shot a fire ball at the clown and soon there after I had another false awakening. I got up and I had a sleeping mask on, which I do not wear but I left it on because I thought that if I kept my eyes closed, I could still exert dream powers as an overlay into the waking world. I went to my parents room and woke them up, exclaiming about how I just had my first lucid dream. I then shot dream fire at them, which I thought was just fire that only I could see because I was still half dreaming. I then went back to my room, wrote the whole thing down in my dream journal and went to sleep. A couple seconds later I woke up for real.
