Perhaps I am a bear, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.

      Windy Willow's Dream Forest

Well, this is my first post to my dream journal. I don't remember my dreams from last night because I let too much time go by before posting this. I will try to do a better job of keeping track of them.

Most of my dreams are either very unpleasant, horrifying, or stupid. I will be very happy to get to the point where I can have some control over what I dream. Sometimes they totally ruin my day because they can have such a negative effect on me. I just can't seem to get out of the hold they have on me.

At first, other people were in the house. It was like neighbor kids were over playing with our kids and the parents started showing up to pick up their kids. Don and I were getting ready to go out and I realized that we hadn't fed our kids. There were 3 kids that were ours. Two of them were twin Chinese girls that we had obviously adopted (we don't have twin Chinese girls, but my daughter and her husband adopted an 8 yr old Chinese girl about a year ago). I am not sure who the 3rd child was but I think it was my youngest son in real life. I went to check on the kids because I hadn't checked on them in awhile. When I went into their rooms I found them all asleep. So I went into the kitchen with Don and told him that he is never the one to think that maybe we need to feed our children before we go out. I started picking up food from the counter and from the refrigerator. All the fruit was going bad. I picked up an orange and half of it was dark, moldy green. I kept picking up different kinds of fruit and each one seemed to be worse than the one before. They were very very mushy and soggy and dripping with juice or some kind of liquid, maybe water. Bananas, apples, mandarine oranges, etc. And the fruits were all in color. I am not sure if anything else was in color. I either thought it or told my husband that our fruit never went bad that fast and we probably needed to put a dehumidifier in the kitchen.

Then the kids all woke up and we had nothing to feed them. (End of what I remember.)
