I've tried to lucid dream for weeks at a time in the past with no results but I'll try stickin with it for the long haul this time! I remember when I was younger (during primary school) having dreams that were so vivid that I'd be really disappointed when waking that I couldn't actually run at the speed of sound or fly. And I remember sort of being able to prolong good dreams when waking seemed imminent but I don't think I've ever had an actual lucid dream and haven't really had a dream with that level of vivid reality since my young days. So this is where I will chronicle the gradual rise of my dreaming recall skill level until I eventually become an oneironaut master! Key: Regular Dream Side Notes Lucid Dream

Sat 13th December 2008 Exercising then Cuddling Suburban neighbourhood-sub tropical-Brisbane like. I'm exercising with a fit middle aged man (who I'm staying with) by jogging around neighbourhood. I'm not fit though and he passes me, laughing,but in a nice way. was running with a basketball. Looking at myself from the outside-3rd person. There was another guy my age jogging with us. Back in man's house his daughter's lying on me, cuddling and I'm simultaneously practising dance steps with her encouragement. Jungle boat ride I'm me 1st person. Tall E from basketball team and I are waiting to leave big box-y apartment building bbut I can't leave cos I realize my viola's still inside. Commotion as E keeps calling for everyone's attention and asking if they'd seen where my viola is after someone had already returned it to me. DC was there and CB face stood out among people sitting in waiting area above us (me and D). Before that was in a boat-ride in a jungle-suburban area. DR at other end of the boat. I cause some ruckus when I throw something back at D and hit him in face I think. Then I was talking to DG I think in an expansive flat field where he was congratulating me on my ability to create long-lasting commotion like on the boat trip.

Remembered a dream on waking but was too lazy to write it down. Just had a nap from 2-4pm but no remembered dreams.

No dreams to describe today. Went to bed late and alarm woke me up. Couldn't even remember any fragments!

Woke 3:26am Me intimidating garden shop owner....he ends up giving me small palm tree for some reason. The reason and the few fragments still in my mind on waking left me while I was grabbing DJ! Woke 5:10 Ripped for their Pleasure Me getting changed in a room with the window open. My boxer shorts are old and I am ripping them and the shreds dangle down my legs. K (cousin) walks past outside and I could tell she had seen in and was thinking 'What the!?'. Then as she walks past in the opposite direction I yell out 'Hey I'm just getting changed!'. Someone else walks past after this also. K couldn't see my goolies-blocked by music stand or something. Rainforest-like trees and plants outside.

Woke 6am Watching dream. Two men and a boy driving around in SUV. Men in costume -Batman and yellow costume (can't remember which superhero-What superhero wears all yellow?) They were reminiscing about the past and introducing boy (the Batman guy's son) to new things. Boy was about 8-10 yrs old. They were all about to see a movie together-stopped on the way at vending machines inconveniently situated 100m away from the road. Guy in yellow tried to race reluctant Batman back to the car but Batman too tired or old or something. 3rd person. Participating dream. Dogs and me in large hall. Many different breeds. Think I was telling someone about the different breeds as I was playing with them. Remember dog jumping straight up and me grabbing it on the way up as I jumped simultaneously and getting maximum air from the dog power. Was thinking how strange/cool it was that a small dog could do that. Woke 7:30 Wasps attacking me on the grounds of a school or something. I'm whacking each one away with a thinnish blue book about tai chi. Eventually I find teaming nest of the little black and yellow bastards and knocked it onto the ground and started smashing the writhing mound with two-handed-tai chi-book-slams. Woke up wanting to learn tai chi for some reason!

Woke 6am - Fragments High rise glass building lit up at night in the middle of vast city. Lit up in lavish green and blue. Words running up the side of the building stopping occasionally like scrolling movie credits. Inside this building male baby sits in high chair talking subliminally to mother who is looking for him then she walks into baby's room and he makes a sinister face and a vigorous movement like he was going to vomit or throw something - I felt scared at this point. Before building saw Leelee Sobieski's? (actress) face close up but her face was altered like Nicole Kidman's in 'The Hours'.

Woke 5:30 Theme park called Castle Camelot just down the range where you can actually fight with swords. Also has theme park ride but didn't go on it cos my M+D were too busy getting on the wrong wooden conveyors, requiring me to point them in the right direction. LD was helping me explain how cool Castle Camelot is to my parents. Woke 7am I join a health club and my presence there is not wanted by other members because of my strange workout methods of which I don't remember. There must have been a competition coming up in the club because a dream enemy was spouting off about how badly I'd do and how great he was (he was particularly muscular and demonstrating pushups). The enemy was driving and I say something to him like Ï could still beat you!" And here's where the funniest thing happened- He smirks and goes 'Pfffftt' as he starts to smile and the dream cameras pan up to his face and immediately go into slow motion as four small blobs of spittle are propelled from his mouth. The sound effects here are some hybrid of a martial arts action scene and sci-fi lasers as the spittle actually curves in mid-air back towards him and all four blobs, unbeknownst to him, land back in his mouth. It wasn't funny just cos of the slow-mo and sound effects. This was the typical 'popular' guy from the start of every teen movie and it was like he could do no wrong. Even his spit doesn't land on external things! I was marvelling at this move when suddenly I look forward and I'm driving the car with a red car merging in front of me. Woke
